Awesome. Finishing up XC3 (at about 175 hours). Plan to start FR sometime next month.

That game gets shit on a lot, but I’ve always enjoyed it. People don’t like it because it’s different.
- Comment on What's your favorite game you played this year? (Doesn't have to be released this year ) 9 months ago:
Throughout the year I played:
-Secret of Mana (haven’t played in 15 years or so. Game still holds up)
-Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (and the Torna DLC). The main story is fantastic. A bit quantity of quality with all the Blades.
-The Legend of Zelda: TOTK. This game is great. Ultra hand blows this game wide open
-Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Finish this one up now and about to start the DLC. Story IMO is the poorest of the 3 games. But they took the best of the first two game’s battle mechanics and improved that system.
Probably XC2. It was a lot of fun.

If it does, that’s progress. As you stated, it’s inevitable. Anytime technology leaps forward, some will benefit while others prosper. I’m sure when automobiles started to surge, the amount of horse breeders declined a bit.

- Comment on AI-created “virtual influencers” are stealing business from humans 9 months ago:
Remember when we used to shame people for “selling out”? Now we have an entire generation or two who can’t sell out faster enough. Crazy.
- Comment on AI-created “virtual influencers” are stealing business from humans 9 months ago:
Replaced implies humans are no longer writing or creating art, which obviously isn’t the case. They just have more competition now.
- Comment on Lemmy MAUs climbing back up! You love to see it. 9 months ago:
Agreed. The person you’re responding to thinks it’s good because most people are aligned with his/her opinions. It’s currently nothing more than a large echo chamber. A fresh injection of users will do Lemmy well for diversity of thought.

The majority of mainstream media, save for Fox News (and perhaps one or two others) is left wing my American standards.

- Comment on How many of you actually use the headphone jack on your phone? 9 months ago:
Around 2011 or so, certain Android models had mini hdmi. I even bought a mini hdmi to hdmi cable. I believe screen mirroring became common and killed it because I didn’t see it on phones after a couple of years.
- Comment on Tesla again threatens to sue Cybertruck buyers who try to resell the cars 9 months ago:
If this is true, and people stupidly signed a contract stating as such, I have zero sympathy for them if they get sued. What a ridiculous stipulation.

This is the kind of government intervention I can get behind. This story is so outrageous, it’s hard to believe it’s true.

Hahaha now I’M a transphobe? Your hyperbole is off the scales. I don’t give a crap about T people one way or the other. I barely think about them. Hateful? Jesus christ. Get a grip on reality. Though seeing much time you spend on this website it’s a fair possibility the internet is your reality.
I heart breaks for you people. You have zero interest in any opinion that doesn’t perfectly align with your own. You willingly, and gladly, live in an echo chamber.
- Comment on Just get a bigger fence 10 months ago:
Shut the fuck up and get out.
No, I don’t think I will.
- Comment on Just get a bigger fence 10 months ago:
This is my biggest problem with the left. You have to agree with all their opinions. Identify with all their beliefs, or you’re a nazi. J.K. Rowling is a good example. Donated millions of dollars to worthy causes. Huge feminist. Staunch leftist. But disagree with one subject regarding .000001% of the population (T people stuff)? Boom. She’s a bigoted, nazi transphobe.
This is a small example of cancel culture, but there’s this bi-annual video game speed running marathon called Games Done Quick (GDQ). They raise a few million dollars every six months for the Cancer Foundation and Doctors Without Boarders. When that new Hairy Potter video game dropped, not only did GDQ ban that game from participating in their event, they banned ALL Hairy Potter video games.

Nothing after number 1 is relevant. As long as you are nominated by the current POTUS, and are confirmed by the senate via a simple majority, you are legitimate.
As far as number 1 goes, which non-elected presidents appointed justices?

That ending is hilarious to me. Societies just don’t do a compete 180° over the course of a year or so. Changes at that level are very, very slow. Taking centuries in some cases. But all of a sudden, they have taxes, social programs, environmental programs, etc…
I know Ferengis are portrayed as non-violent, but I would think makes such rapid, unpopular changes would lead to some level of violence/civil uprising.
