And its a horrible reason too, Chrome sucks! Only reason i use it is because they successfully assimilated me into their ecosystem over many years and i dont have the mental energy required to ungoogle myself. I have come to accept that i am google’s bitch.
- Comment on How Facebook Messenger and Meta Pay are used to buy child sexual abuse material 3 months ago:
Assuming the 90-9-1 rule holds true, 10k arrests for 100k active users is actually pretty good for stopping child abuse. LEA has limited resources and can’t go after everybody, it makes sense that they would focus only on those that produce and share.

You are correct, and i did realize this some time after posting I’m just too lazy to edit it.

I am a carrier of CFTR mutations. If I knock up a random woman theres a 1 in 80000 chance of the child having cystic fibrosis. If I knock up my sister theres a 1 in 16 chance instead.

My two big issues was that gravity was working against my fingers to keep them on the buttons, and also the side of my palm would rub along the surface if the desk as I used it. I had to hold my hand up and in position the whole time instead of just laying it on there like a normal mouse, got hand cramps after one day of using it. Thankfully I was just borrowing it from a coworker who also hated it so I had no investment lol.

I have no interest in underwater cave diving, but if I for any reason found my self in this situation (or similar) I would absolutely go on the other side of the sign for quick selfie/photo op, then hurry my ass back to safety. What is one more step when you’ve made it this far?

- Comment on YSK that SLS, an ingredient added to most commercial toothpastes, causes canker sores 7 months ago:
I found this out on my own as an adult after years of being unable to build a toothbrushing habit from childhood.
Brush teeth canker sores hurts to much to brush for a week forget about brushing altogether month or two later remember that i should be brushing my teeth regularly repeat
Now that i know the problem i can buy toothpaste that doesn’t actively harm me, but that doesn’t fix the 20 years of not brushing or make it easier to build that habit as an adult :/
- Comment on YSK that SLS, an ingredient added to most commercial toothpastes, causes canker sores 7 months ago:
Sensodyne has SLS too. Its largely a scam toothpaste to be honest. It just has a numbing agent in it and costs twice as much. Maybe youve just gotten lucky but that shit was useless for me and still gave me sores.

- Comment on Nitrous oxide: Laughing gas possession becomes illegal 7 months ago:
Its not even a good high. Im a big baby at the dentist and need to be gassed up for anything more than a routine cleaning. The experience is similar to when youve been sitting down for a while and then stand up too quick and get all dizzy with tunnel vision. Also it wears off like 5 minutes after they stop administering it.
