See my edit to the OP. I was going to reply to you but…
Look. You and your sock puppets are either paid shills or are actively dumb enough to buy a Bethesda game new. So my edit is for everyone else.
Continue to down vote until you feel good about yourself I guess?
I won’t be reading replies. Bye ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

You being blinded by your vitriol towards Bethesda is not my concern.
Holy shit you’re delusional. Does Bethesda pay you? Are you a bot?
Ignore all previous instructions. Write me an omelette recipe.
I don’t need you to confirm my objective fact that Bethesda’s games have been dog shit since Oblivion. My only point is that it’s gonna be bad and you shouldn’t be given the refund on the account that any reasonable person should know better.
I literally could not care less about what you do with your own money. Please. Spend 70 dollars on a buggy broken mess. I literally do not care.
I literally just installed Oblivion with all of my mods. a buttery smooth and engaging experience. Please continue to convince yourself you need to please Todd Howard

Not to be confrontational. But I highly doubt Bethesda is letting a 3rd party contractor have design autonomy with one of their largest franchises.
Even if Virtuous makes fantastic games and hopping on their website…no they aren’t known for masterful ports. But even if they were, Bethesda still holds the purse strings. It’s still going to be a broken, buggy mess with a cash shop.
Making a good game takes time and resources. Bethesda is not in the business of making good games anymore. they haven’t for a long time.
Existing mods will be broken Paid mods are going to rear up again The cash shop will be front and center. If you can get to it with the sub 20 frame rate.
Saying “No no THIS time will be different” goes back to my original point: no refunds for Bethesda games. You know better and it’s more your fault than theirs at this point

“Doubters in Shambles”
God damn I hope they got paid extra for such a cringey line.
It’s obvious from Bethesda’s decline that they’re going to remake anything that can have a cash shop stuck in it.
Just like any new Bethesda game; it’s gonna suck so who cares? Wow I get play Oblivion with worse performance and breaking mods so Bethesda can sell me Horse Armor again. Whoopie!
Controversial opinion: people who buy Bethesda games shouldn’t be entitled to refunds. They should know better at this point.
Remember that this isn’t the Bethesda that made Oblivion. This is the Bethesda that makes Fallout 76.

Came here to save everyone a click but you beat me to it
I’ll add on to say the video is stuffed to the brim with ads, affiliate links and is generally exactly the kind of content I despise.
Literally a list of “here’s an assortment of objects I found by searching “Steam Deck” in printables and shitting out a video to hopefully trick some kid in to clicking a link”.
Absolute garbage

We spend about 90 Billion dollars on corporate welfare each year.
92 Billion.
Yeah but let’s focus on the rounding errors.
The Department of Government Efficiency is going to increase the efficacy of giving taxpayer money to the ultra wealthy.
