I don’t know about that one, bit I know of a somewhat similar option. Yiu can. in so. e states, havarranhe to Hove your body wrapped in a fabricsshroud, amd laid intoaa… aact filled with organic mateial(usually woodchils and the like), then after after a few weeks you ahve compost or soil basically, that can be sued for land conseravtion ect.
I might add, to yiur point, that representatives of the Catholic church have repeatedly opposed this posted etah option from becoming avakabke, on the ground that ** they considerit to be undignifoed*', (granted, they’re just about the only ones who take thatbosition, one they know moanybof the detail and context, but it’s a substantial and influential organisation), and then random passerby who doesn’t know anything other about the process than a sensational news headline on might well condiser it undignified too at ekat in the moment.
And of course, yiu could consider it as if you had arranged if yourself to be turned into literal dirt dirt, and then what could be more gloriously u dignified than that.
… more on that subject at: orderofthegooddeath.com/…/green-death-technology/… and at www.recompose.life (I shiuld warn, neigher of these resources make the process sound or look larocularky undignified, but then these things are a matter of perspective after all, in some ways)

in general, agreed on the point about coffins, and using land just for butial into perpetuity is not a great tradition.
If and where it’s just about the use of a box, and/or about the using of land space solely for burial, then one other option they can adress bith of these is ‘green conservation butkal’.
The land is used for nature and ecosystem restoration and conservation at the same time, and there is no box/coffin required at all. They can also sometimes be less expensive than conventional burial (with the box and the embalming and so on) or even conventional cremation. Some more about the subject at:

you know, I was thinkingaabout purpose made carborad caskets, and they do exit, but reusing a fridge box seems like an even more fun idea if thats something that appeal to loving peron planning thir future funeral a More eco friendly, and more evonomical as yiu metión. 📦
also a shout out to the idea of shorids, in that cade case a clean old beafheet of the right size and material, will probanly work just as well as any shroud, for a burial, while being potentially free. (For some some burial grounds, no box needed, just a shroud is perfectly fine. basically a fabric sheet wrapping)

Arranging to having yiur future postmortem body used to fertilise plants, is a really cool option, in my opinion. A green/natural/eco funeral is one way to, basically, do that, and it’s pretty widely avalable too, in most places.
And cardboard coffins work, and tend to be accepted by mat green burial sites. Woven willow coffins, untreated wood coffins, as well as just classic biodegradable shrouds, are several other options that used for this. On that subject,Hheres some resources that might be helpful with planning for a green burial, ahead of time (and ensuring that thise wishes are carried out later) , for those that this appeals to and that haven’t allready: www.orderofthegooddeath.com/…/green-burial/ (the order also has information on n. o. r/terramation/composting, and on aquamatuon/water-cremation options, both of wchich are compatible with the ‘become plant ferileser if yiu wnat to’ idea) and www.greenburialcouncil.org/interactive-maps.html
And to mention green burials in another jurisdiction, , www.naturaldeath.org.uk/index.php?page=find-a-nat…
Hopefully some of that may be helpful, or intresting. tdl
tdlr:arranging for a simple post death thing for yourself, and becoming fertiliser for there’s, is cool, and generally very doable too.

heres some points I found from a quick searcb: (specifically note point 3,… and… in another sense point 7):
"… 1. Drink more water to reduce bloating
Bloating can cause discomfort and make menstrual cramps worse. While it may sound counterintuitive, drinking water can reduce bloating during your period and alleviate some of the pain it causes. Also, drinking hot water can increase blood flow throughout your body and relax your muscles. This can lessen cramps caused by uterine contractions. 2. Enjoy herbal teas to relieve inflammation and muscle spasms
Certain types of herbal tea have anti-inflammatory properties and antispasmodic compounds that can reduce the muscle spasms in the uterus that cause cramping. Drinking chamomile, fennel or ginger tea is an easy, natural way to relieve menstrual cramps. Plus, these herbal teas can have other benefits, like stress relief and helping with insomnia.
- Eat anti-inflammatory foods to relax menstrual cramps
Some foods can offer natural relief for cramps, and they taste great. Anti-inflammatory foods can help promote blood flow and relax your uterus. Try eating berries, tomatoes, pineapples and spices like turmeric, ginger or garlic. Leafy green vegetables, almonds, walnuts and fatty fish, like salmon, can also help reduce inflammation.
- Skip the treats to avoid extra bloating
While a brownie or french fries might sound delicious, foods high in sugar, trans fat and salt can cause bloating and inflammation, which makes muscle pain and cramps worse. Grab a banana or another piece of fruit to fight sugar cravings, or go for unsalted nuts if you want something more savory. 5. Reach for decaf coffee to improve period pain
Caffeine causes your blood vessels to narrow. This can constrict your uterus, making cramps more painful. If you need your coffee fix, switch to decaf during your period. If you rely on caffeine to beat the afternoon slump, eat a snack high in protein or take a quick 10-minute walk to boost your energy.
- Try dietary supplements to help with menstrual symptoms
Vitamin D can help your body absorb calcium and reduce inflammation. Other supplements, including omega-3, vitamin E and magnesium, can help reduce inflammation and might even make your periods less painful. For best results, take supplements every day, not just during your period. Also, because some supplements interact with medications, be sure to ask your doctor before taking anything new.
- Apply heat to calm cramping
A little heat can help your muscles relax, improve blood flow and relieve tension. Try sitting with a heating pad, taking a hot shower or relaxing in a hot bath.
- Exercise for muscle relaxation and endorphins
If you’re in pain, exercise might be the last thing on your mind. But even gentle exercise releases endorphins that make you feel happy, reduce pain and relax your muscles. Fifteen minutes of yoga, light stretching or walking might be all you need to feel the physical and mental benefits of exercise. And if exercise is already a part of your routine, did you know that tracking your period can help you improve athletic performance? 9. Reduce stress to improve mental and physical period symptoms
Stress may make cramps worse. Use stress relief techniques like meditation, deep breathing, yoga or your own favorite way to relieve stress. If you’re not sure how to relieve stress, try guided imagery. Simply close your eyes, take a deep breath and imagine a calm, safe place that’s significant to you. Stay focused on this space for at least a few minutes while you take slow, deep breaths… "

some places have some level of test, or anyways interview or vetting, before becoming a childcare worker, or befire adoption. that could be seen as somethkng similar to described.
of course, multiple jurisdictions also make even accessing contraception, far more difficut that it should be, with all sorts of tests ands barriers in the way. I guess that’s the opposite of, in one sense, of whats proposed perhaps.
…
And, yeah, don’t do eugenics, . do, however, make contraception and scientificallya accurate sex ed, freely and widely avalable.

In my defence, I’m new to this keyboard and have big fingers. Also, although I know aof it’s existence, I haven’t attended any sde I schools myself.
My formal language education Is all quite conventional, with conventional leadership structures and decision making processes, and all. So please don’t let that detract from the subjects mentioned.(i really should remember to check spelling, before posting, though 😅)
Anyway, I’m glad that sde style alternatives, and how they relate to the question, may be of intrest.

perhaps, somewhat related, a place to point out the example of tge republic of San Marino. They have, and have had, since an horn’t times: a system of co leadership at the highest national level of government.:+. Two people, elected, jointly holding the position, no singular figure, (and even those two, are changed, at most, every six months on a regular basis, and I belive they can’t serve more than one term consecutively, if at all).
Theyve had, San Marino, a long and sucequite sucessfully history. Perhaps the only country then known to survive the the conquest of many surrounding regions on the peninsula. No civil wars, and no transitions of power of changes of government in wchich anybody seems to have been so much as killed or seriously injured. And the system hof co government, and rotation aahs lasted a long time, the longest lasting continuous republic to exist today, I think it’s supposed to be. San Marino.

just to add to this. there is, although seeing it thuroihly implemented is comparatively uncommon, the practicea of ‘democratic eduactiin’ and ‘selfddirected education’. The sudbury valley school in massechusets is kne relatively well known example of this.
In those contexts, the trends are in many ways, turned on their head. They ahve a website, and a a youtube channel, accesible vía That froendly alternative frontend that I can’t rember just now, with interview with some alumni of the school, and some. published books with accounts from other graduates.
Just wanted to add, that the phenomenon described with in the comment replied to, although all too common, are not universal., nor always are they the only option.

if they do end up keeping it, there are artists metalworker, that will agree to turn things like that into custom arto,if requested. There one in the netherland , I think it is, that offers the service.(they also accept and work with meral that was removed when yiu were still alive, through surgery for example). There seem to be some beautiful examples.
… So, that might be of intrest of intrsst, when writing a will, and to whomever you end up passing that metal to, as a n option, and anlther resin to hold onto those metallic artefacts and keepsakes.

we’ll, if the peron was able to and chose for their future postmortem body, to undergo the disposition option of ‘natural organic reduction’ (also known as terramation, also known as body cmposting), then Ive red and heard that any implants that contain batteries or are highly radioactive will be removed early on.
other metal) , like a metal hip, or bolts,), are typically left in the body. they stay with the rest of the body thought the internment ceremony, (incidentally a future customer certainly can request that a particular song or playlist be played during their internment, , and several reportedly have opted for metal to. be played at this poing🎶), and any metal parts go into the pod along with the wood chips and the straw and and oxygen and everything else, they stay with the rest of the bidy the ‘beehive’ through the first four weeks or thereabouts, and through the peak periods of intense heat.
then, towards the latter stages, they are eventually screened removmkved using a screen. similar to that used in many composting methods. Any metal prices are returned to friends or family of they wish to keep them, or otherwise they are recycled. ♻️
anyway, that seems to be the process, for those that die with metal, and who choose to have their body sent to this particular funeral services provider. (recompose). For more on that you can red more at www.recompose.life, they have a faq section. I belive it’s a similar process for other providers of n. o. r services, and(in some ways) for some alkaline hydrolisys and cremation servjices.
maybe that helps answers the question, at least in some part.
