It’s a packaging bug, the headline is false.

The animals don’t do any digging. They just report the death smell, and the handlers then have to dig and confirm why the dog reported.
- Comment on AskReddit 1 month ago:
Yeah that seems like it should work :D
- Comment on AskReddit 1 month ago:
Fuck no, that would only encourage digging because it’s too suspicious.

- Comment on FAA grounds SpaceX after rocket falls over in flames. 2 months ago:
The problem is that something unexpected happend, so now we gotta understand it.
Was it caused by something during ascent? Now that’s a problem.
If it’s something that was caused during decent we “only” need to understand how to spot it, but it won’t be a critical flight safety problem. - Comment on How can I get a screw like this out? 2 months ago:
That usually works, however you need too much force to press the torx bit into the hole to do that on sensitive electronics. That screw is probably only threaded into plastic.
- Comment on Google threatened tech influencers unless they ‘preferred’ the Pixel 2 months ago:
The fp5 has a SD-Slot btw.
But yeah, I’m also hoping for more repairability in phones, however if you want to buy a new one in the next 2 years I seriously doubt that major manufacturers will have DIY repairable phones by then.

Fairphone can run GOS just fine btw. eOS is just also “approved” by fairphone themselves

You definitely pay a premium for repairability and ethics, but IMO it’s worth it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The cup is incredibly soft, so it can’t protect him like the shell can

But could it not be reasonably assumed that you were only attempting to annoy the owner and not cause harm?
No idea if that even makes a difference, would be funny tho
- Comment on Dark mode’s bright future: How dark mode will transform Wikipedia’s accessibility 3 months ago:
Look at Answer in Progress’s video on dark mode, the initial question is a different one about design, but it goes a bit in the difference and dis- versus advantages between dark and light mode.
- Comment on How do you rank sums of single-digit numbers ? 3 months ago:
Nah. 9+1 is satisfying cause 9 is almost there and the 1 completes it. 7+3 is premium because they’re both odd numbers resulting in a nice number. 8+2 is just really meh and nothing special
- Comment on How do you rank sums of single-digit numbers ? 3 months ago:
4+4 should be S tier and 2+8 isn’t even A tier IMO

True, I meant cinnamon, which (IIRC) was the default/suggested to you when you went to the website.
- Comment on Microsoft is reportedly banning Palestinians in the U.S. for life for calling relatives in Gaza 4 months ago:
Because the UI is similar to windows, so it will feel more familiar to (ex-)windows users

It allegedly also affects Edge and Vivaldi, so it seems to be chromium not chrome

Ask locals before going somewhere you haven’t before? They’ll tell you if there are spots that are no-go zones for tourists and what to look out for.
