  Meryl was tedious because her codec frequency was printed “on the back of the CD case”, not an item in-game, but literally the case where the game came in. Due to rampant piracy in my country, it was hard to get it in a case with the back cover, so my solution was to try every frequency. Mantis has two ways to kill him. You either have to swap the controller to port 2, or shoot at a bust of him. Which one you can use depend on difficulty IIRC.

  I don’t have an answer to your question, but one thing I love about Material Files that I haven’t seen in other FOSS apps, is that it has lots of options to access network locations, including SMB, (S)FTP, and WebDAV, and other apps’ files via Storage Access Framework.

  On my tablet (which I currently use as both a dev machine and a file server) I can access Termux and TIC-80 home directories, and from other devices I can access the WebDAV server (Copyparty under Termux).

  I just wish it had better UI when using a keyboard (tablet) or remote control (TV).

  Second this. My Redmi 12 can run heavier PSP games and NDS. I didn’t try 3DS yet as I don’t know any worthwhile games and RetroArch requires some setup IIRC, which I haven’t been in the mood to do.

  Just find a suitable gamepad. I have a cheap PS2 shaped ergonomic one I got for like 15 USD (it just says X3 Wireless Controller or some such; don’t remember the brand)
