When the older generation who steadily support them through everything finally die off.

Yep, it’s just a bit frustrating really. All they need to do is throw in some extra keycaps into the box.
I just cannot do ANSI. there is no reversing 30 years of muscle memory.

Same, plus no UK ISO layout options.
- Comment on Game wikis just aren't as popular anymore? 1 year ago:
I can’t stand listening to them. 99% of people doing these videos, any videos, on YouTube have no concept or idea of how to actually talk properly to an audience. I don’t want to have to skip through someone fucking mumbling in an indecipherable accent to find what I need.
Give me written instructions/guides. It’s faster, I can re-read easily at my own pace (fast!) and I don’t get annoyed by someone’s nasally voice. Yes I’m an older one too.

I’m the biggest Xenoblade geek around - what the fuck at your later part (not at you). If you mean Future Connected, that is absolutely 100% tying up the entire trilogy (and also tying in Gears/Saga/X as much as Takahashi could do), and yes - there are multiple monados (A’s, Alpha’s). Shulks is a replica, but the other two are literally split from Ontos’ original. Matthew’s gauntlets are also arguably a Monado too, powered by the Pneuma core, and I would also argue that N’s sword of the end is also a Monado, based on the Logos core.
I had enough with the Xenoblade community back when XB3 launched and the usual culprits who also run the wiki absolutely laughed anyone out of the room who suggested those statues in the city were of Shulk and Rex. I mean, the descriptions and look made it obvious to anyone with a brain (and FR proved yes, it was) - but no, these things have to be spelled out in black and white and made 100% clear apparently otherwise it can’t be true.

I have a medical licence for 21% THC cannabis flower (to grind and vape) from Sapphire/curaleaf. It’s, without exaggeration, saved my life. Healthier than ever before, and it’s even completely eliminated my need for any other medication and id also credit it with my giving up alcohol fully.

Proud of someone for damaging property? What a shitty community, honestly.

And what about bottles of alcohol, toiletries and meat to be sold at the local pub?
- Comment on ‘It’s organised looting’: UK in grip of a shoplifting epidemic, say store owners 1 year ago:
Well yes, of course they couldn’t do anything. I used to run a large convenience store before leaving retail for good around 15 years ago - I know the score.
The issue is the knock on effects. One of my staff members back then had her ribs broken in one shoplifting attack, and that was unprovoked. Police never caught the guy.

I was actually in my local co op last week when a group rushed in, literally ransacked the place - openly filling up their bags, then brazenly quickly walked out. Absolute cunts.
Staff couldn’t do anything. Said it’s happened numerous times before.

- Comment on American bully XL dogs to be banned by end of year - Sunak 1 year ago:
“how it was reared”
You lost me there. These are breeds with an inherent nature to kill and maim. They’re freaks, mutants, and now thankfully to be banned.
- Comment on American bully XL dogs to be banned by end of year - Sunak 1 year ago:
Nah mate, these dogs are fucking disgusting freaks. I’ve been chased by one before - quite frankly, I don’t give a fuck what your research says.
- Comment on American bully XL dogs to be banned by end of year - Sunak 1 year ago:
Same as when they last banned a breed. They must all be registered, muzzled, and neutered. If not, fines/seizure and possible imprisonment of the owner.
- Comment on Man attacked by two dogs near school in Stonnall dies 1 year ago:
Nothing more to it. A type of dog bred for fighting mauled a man to death. And now this specific breed has been announced as being banned entirely by the end of the year. Good.
- Comment on Man attacked by two dogs near school in Stonnall dies 1 year ago:
It’s known now. Sunak has just confirmed it, and announced Bully XLs with be banned within the next few months.

Loading games from big floppy disks, hearing the CLINK CLUNK CLUNK WRRRRR noises, on the BBC Micro computers at school in the early 90s.

- Comment on Judge in US v. Google trial didn’t know if Firefox is a browser or search engine 1 year ago:
Yep, people here seem to be totally misunderstanding and overestimating how much the average person knows about tech.
I work in a role where I have to help clients sometimes access their reports via a portal. The clients ages range from 20s to their 80s, some very successful, some less, all intelligent at least. The amount of times I have had to explain what a browser is…or how to type in a URL ("but I just type the address in the Google thing!', searching for a fucking URL), and the absolute fucking basics.
My daughter is 12 and has just moved into secondary school. She’s commented that a lot of her class in IT cannot use a computer. They do not know how to use a filesystem, how to use a mouse or even a keyboard as they’ve grown up with iPads/phones and being able to bash in what they want into the first screen they see.
I have no issues with the judge. He asked for clarification, got it, and moved on. That’s not being inept, that’s being a normal person. Now if he keeps doing it past this point, and it starts affecting the case because he’s incapable of understanding, then yeah that might be different.

People forgot about the similar pandemic in 1919 or so. Everything repeated, including the anti-vaxxers.
So yes it will happen again and again. As will war, and everything else shit yet inherent in human nature.
- Comment on Nintendo demoed Switch 2 to developers at Gamescom 1 year ago:
? I buy all my games and rip them using my launch Switch. I then enjoy playing them in 4k60fps instead of using the dock, with the saves synced via wifi so I can go back to handheld after.
Emulation does NOT = piracy for fucks sake.

I just use Yuzu rather than my switch. Can’t beat 4k60fps.
