  Dad liked Star Trek so I watched with him since I was 3 or 4 years old. I became a much bigger fan when I had a job with odd hours and watched DS9 reruns at night in the mid 90s.

  As they’ve turned into wish.com over the last few years I’ve bought less and less from them so I by the end I was mainly paying for the TV service.

  After almost 20 years as a Prime subscriber I unsubscribed about a week ago. It was the ads, I put up with a lot of nonsense over the years but the ads were the final insult.

  I’m not paying full streaming service prices for a service with ads.

  More awkward than fun according to her interview on a podcast I listened to years ago. Don’t remember which podcast but I don’t think she’s been on a lot of them so it shouldn’t be super difficult to to find.

  Yes but they had some sort of food machines so I think they could replicate on a limited basis.

  I saw these last two price increases coming when they dropped a billion dollars on the Lord of the Rings show and then again when the show got mediocre reviews and low viewing numbers.

  When my student discount for Prime is over I’m canceling. This is the last straw.
