  It depends how much I am making. A pint or a quart. I typically only make one or two servings at a time. I mostly eat it on salad, or with cucumbers and tomatoes.

  It cooks quickly, so I only add very hot or boiling water (if I am using boiling water, I ensure the jar is preheated to avoid cracking) to the jar and let the residual heat cook it.

  I buy uncooked couscous in a bag. I add raw couscous to a jar, and cook it in the jar. And then serve it from the jar.

  Complaining that linux sucks, and complaining that there are too many linux users is two vastly different things. I think linux sucks, but I also wish there were more users because then there would be more programs for it, and it would also be better.

  AirBnBs are one reason. My wife’s home town is trying to pass a law regarding short term rentals because close to half of the houses in town are airbnbs. A developer started to build a new housing development specifically to be bnbs.

  Another reason is corporations are buying property as investments.

  Back when games did not have saves I would leave a system on while trying to beat the game. But only maybe during dinner, or maybe overnight.

  The first time my sister used my SEGA Genesis she only turned off the TV. The Genesis ended up being left on for an extended weekend. I do not know if that caused it or not, but shortly after that the power supply died.

  I still mud on occasion. I used TinyFugue back when i started mudding in 88 or 89 (maybe lot was 89/90). I then used zMUD and later cMUD for years. Now I use MUDlet.
