- Comment on Owners of a domain, which domain registrar did you choose and why? 7 months ago:
Interestingly that is why I chose them like 5 years ago as I figured that is a plus as far as privacy is concerned. Having 1337 show up when performing a domain owner lookup instead of my name seem like a good thing and if I need it to be registered to me it’s easy enough to transfer.
I live the service though and brokep being involved makes them worth considering for anyone into privacy.
- Comment on How many of you actually use the headphone jack on your phone? 11 months ago:
Daily. Bought my sennheiser wired noise cancelling headphones in 2017 and they look quite rough now but still sound great and nc is still on par or better than most new headphobes. My brother and sister bought the bluetooth counterpart and both have replaced them years ago since they broke.

Oh, the EU is still pushing through that anti-encryption shit. It didn’t go away.
- Comment on Tesla may have picked an unwinnable fight with Sweden’s powerful unions — The first ever strikes and a solidarity blockade against the US carmaker could force it to rethink its entire anti-union model 11 months ago:
So does Volvo and they haven’t done much against unions. Chinese companies seem to adapt a bit easier to wherever they do business while American companies seem hellbent waging war against themselves like tesla do now.
- Comment on Samsung is planning a 400-500$ foldable for 2024 11 months ago:
My over two year old a52 is buttery smooth still I don’t see the need for a switch until 2 more years. There’s a bit of junk on it but doesn’t really affect anything since I never use it, it’s all just sitting quietly in a folder.
It has honestly made me question the purpose of expensive and fragile flagship phones that I’ve been using the last decade.
- Comment on Not even the ghost of obsolescence can coerce users onto Windows 11 1 year ago:
He may be referring to this: The concerns include the abuse of remote validation of software (where the manufacturer—and not the user who owns the computer system—decides what software is allowed to run) and possible ways to follow actions taken by the user being recorded in a database, in a manner that is completely undetectable to the user.
- Comment on Microsoft to stop forcing Windows 11 users into Edge in EU countries 1 year ago:
Sure. I’ve run several modern … repurposed… games and it usually works through lutris.
