Maybe not polycam in specific, since they too believe that you need lidar to get high quality scans, which isn’t true at all.

It’s the other way around. That is him holding his leg, but it really looks like porn at first glance.

I don’t care about them. I’m just saying that the argument that they don’t have problems is completely invalid.
- Comment on Taylor is getting all the attention 9 months ago:
Not true at all. Take a look at Elon musk for example. Just because he has money doesn’t stop him from being sued or keeps the government out of his ass. He gets all this negativity from the media and other things and you act like he doesn’t exist because he has lots of money. And I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve it, but you are still insulting a real person, no matter how much money he has. The human brain finds ways to make small things seem big. We all need problems to thrive or else life would be lifeless and boring. If you’ve ever watched the show The Good Place, you might remember the scene where everybody is so happy for so many years that they basically became boring slugs that don’t do anything and have no emotion. To say that the rich are exempt from this is bs. They are humans like everyone else and all humans have these problems.
- Comment on Taylor is getting all the attention 9 months ago:
Are you saying rich people don’t have problems? Because that’s far from true. Although they are less severe problems, they are one you probably can’t comprehend about some weird business shit and other stuff nobody knows about.

Only the ti83-84 are shit. The old ti89 and newer ti nspire are actually really good. I bought a ti89 on eBay for $20 and even though it is 20 something years old it’s still better than there new ti84 color stuff.

The response isn’t even broken. It’s not finished. It gives responses in markdown, same as Lemmy. That is the syntax for a picture embed, it’s just still typing the rest and it doesn’t show it until it’s finished typing.

- Comment on A Skibirational message on Christmas 10 months ago:
I think it’s a kind of parody of the things the newest generation (forget what it’s called) talks like. It isn’t supposed to make sense and probably wouldn’t even to the weird people who do talk like this for some reason.
- Comment on Apple responds to the Beeper iMessage saga: ‘We took steps to protect our users’ 11 months ago:
They protected their users because if they didn’t they wouldn’t have users. I have asked plenty of friends why they don’t use Android and their response is “it doesn’t have iMessage” and that if it did they would switch.

Most carriers either have their own app or their own rcs network for rcs. It is also possible to use the web interface of Google messages to make one, not sure if anyone except beeper has done this though.
- Comment on Nothing Phone builds a blue bubble iMessage bridge while Google and Apple fight over RCS 1 year ago:
I use beeper (a version of these apps that is actually released but kinda shit) and it’s perfectly fine. Their solution would be better because it runs locally on the phone, however it’s only on supported phones which is most likely just nothing phones.
- Comment on Nothing Phone builds a blue bubble iMessage bridge while Google and Apple fight over RCS 1 year ago:
There is a reason they don’t send it until someone is online. On iMessage, you know if someone read it, not if they actually are able to receive it. If they fix the bug where the time of the message is when it finishes sending, it will be a great feature because you know if they have access to their phone and data. It will try to send it throughout the down time. Also you can use other rcs apps and have things go through rcs messages because of desktop authentication.
- Comment on Nothing Phone builds a blue bubble iMessage bridge while Google and Apple fight over RCS 1 year ago:
I don’t want them to either but we both know rcs will not be supported on Apple. At least not easily.

They want iPhone users to have want they want and need when switching to Android. I think it’s not a bad idea. Personally, I find MMS to be horrible. Not because of lack of features but because it is different for everybody in one group chat. The messages become out of order, things don’t send but say they do, etc. iMessage isn’t the best solution, but if I’m being kicked out of group chats because I’m that one person making it MMS, then I’m all for iMessage on Android.
- Comment on apple users in a nutshell 1 year ago:
And technically there are ways (using some of the above mentioned stuff) to turn off those kinds of security and spyware stuff while Apple is known for buttons that say things like “stop tracking data” or similar that do literally nothing.
- Comment on apple users in a nutshell 1 year ago:
Yeah not Apple. They limit you to their ecosystem while Android lets you do literally whatever the fuck you want. Don’t want to pay for an app in the app store? Then don’t. Don’t want to use the default home screen environment? Then change it. I could go on but I mean it’s pretty obvious at this point.
- Comment on I wish 1 year ago:
Explanation: the percent is modulus. Basically it’s just divide the first number by the second and return the remainder. If you do number % 2, it will return 1 if it is odd and 0 if it is even. For example 4/2 has a remainder of 0 and therefore is even. 3/2 has a remainder of 1, and therefore is odd.

Not as good as jetbrains does, it automatically does things like realign when you paste things and lots of little things that improve the coding experience by a lot.
- Comment on The lengths we have to go to 1 year ago:
Because Python uses indentation instead of curly brackets, which is why this meme exists. Also jetbrains ide s like pycharm and webstorm do all of this for you.
