still hard to commit to it when it’s the only phone I have to use. maybe I can grab a cheap older pixel to test drive it on or something, I think pixel is up to 10? now but 7pro should hopefully last me 3-4 more years if I treat it right, as long as I don’t fuck it up

is there a way to ACTUALLY disable them? I’ve attempted to change every option I can find (pixel 7 pro) and it just downloads them anyway. I’d love to try graphene but I am a fucking moron and I will 100% end up bricking my phone if I attempt to install it.

I had a 980ti for AGES that could do 120hz at 1080. got a big 4k screen, immediately had to upgrade the gpu because it wouldn’t do 4k at anything higher than 60hz. even moving the mouse across the screen felt sluggish.

obscure problems almost always have reddit comments as search results, and there’s no forums or blogs with any of it anymore. be nice to have around solely for that… though I’m sure if shit like /pics or whatever else was removed it could get significantly smaller…

the ‘point and shoot’ is why I ended up with it too. I’ve gotten very tired of spending hours upon hours to make computers work exactly like I want over the years, especially after realizing I’m only actually using 2 or 3 of the dozen+ containers I’ve installed. I can still tinker and break shit on pis and old laptops when I want.

let me know when you can convince nemetschek to make vectorworks output PDFs in any other way… considering they’re unfortunately leaning hard into AI bullshit in their software I doubt that’s getting addressed anytime soon

moved over to gimp lately, just a ton of reassigning shortcuts and it works about the same as PS…
inkscape though, some files I deal with have half a bajillion vectors and it just can NOT handle it (unless I want to wait 20s every time I move something). would really like to get off adobe but, gonna have to keep illustrator for now…

hell, I wish I had something more like that and not a house full of shit I don’t use most of the time.

from the gameplay I’ve watched so far it’s just been turned into a completely different game now. eternal was barely hanging on to the ethos of it, and now theres throwing blades and maces and shit? that’s not doom anymore.
