“MetaGoneMad” social media devolved into chaos. Selfies got replaced with close-up nostril shots. The “like” button exploded into a “passive-aggressive comment” button. Algorithm recommended enemies, not friends. Hashtags turned into full-blown novels.

In a world where everything runs pn money, if parents didn’t teach their kids how to make money before they are abandoned financially at 18, then those parents didn’t do a good job and in fact failed them. They brought them into this world, so they should have helped them learn how to make and handle money in this world that’s all about money. They wouldn’t have had to struggle with the “system” they knew about before having them.

Yes, that is the status quo now in Canada, you need to make $150,000 a year, minimum, to afford a mortgage to buy a low-quality apartment or home.

Actually it’s brain power, to not allow the humans they created, to be subjected, to insane rent costs for the rest of their lives.

No thanks, we need to get rid of the (Royal Families) we have on this planet dirt, not add to it. Having said that, if you create a human being that goes on to live to 70-90 years, you are solely responsible for them until your death.

Almost reads like the author is fucking mad other people have rich parents who have the brains to help the very humans they created and brought into this life.

I would be a lot more worried about an AI that does that on purpose.
What happens when the first ransomware is deployed by AI, on behalf of a user who just wanted tips on how to make more side income?

AI-generated images are becoming increasingly realistic, AI can’t tell them apart anymore.

You mean the same ones that could be easily blocked by extensions so none of us would be talking about it right now and giving them more clicks? you clearly missed the point.

People use the app, have their info exploited and than complain this is the only way to use a service that is exploiting your clicks, and yet, you don’t stop using it, really weird.

No relation to Instagram, this is about the internet as a whole, no one ever should be online without at least 5 adblocking extensions.

I personally think, with Bill Gate push for Digital ID, for every single person on the internet will eventually must have a social credit score, I have no doubt this is coming.
As for this vid you shared, I want to remind people of the following browser extensions that will block majority of them, and I personally use. You can get them for firefox or chrome.
