I’m 100% never going to download an app for a restaurant. I atopped getting my free World Series Taco from Taco Bell the year they required the app.

I’m 28 and i can barely figure out how to order from the stupid kiosks at McDonald’s. It took my brither and I ages to figure out how to order a breakfast meal with a mocha in a road trip, and after a lot of arguing and swearing i still didnt end up with the meal i wanted. I should have just used the bathroom and used the drive through because the attendant actually understands how to use the system.

From the grocery store’s perspective, at least in the US, it keeps the checkout lines moving way faster when some kid who is trained to bag groceries does it, rather than waiting for the customer to figure out how to pack it.

They would have been fucked if it was a crocodile. American alligators are usually super chill and aren’t a problem so long as you aren’t actively antagonizing them. Crocodiles, meanwhile, are colossal assholes that are always looking to fuck up someone’s day.
- Comment on Pluralistic: "If buying isn't owning, piracy isn't stealing" 11 months ago:
How is creating a popular a novel any different than creating a popular object? Hundreds of hours of labor go into both and the creators are entitled to the full value of said labor.
Say you have an amazing story about the vacation you took last year, and told all your friends about it. You would justifiably be pissed if you later found out one of your friends was telling that story as if they had done it. It’s the same for someone who writes a book or any other form of media.

Exactly. That’s why an email saying you are losing your rights unless you opt out is invalid. You cant prove that i ever saw/received that email

Not a credit union, but the PNC app barely works either. Sometimes it takes me 4 attempts to successfully log on because the app crashes during sign-on.

The customers haver marked them selfs as idiots and have a whole fleet of fske cruise lines trying to sell them more voyages. It’s the exact same as all the crypto scams of the past 10 years.

If you are ready to uave your kind blown, that is only one nostril. The other nostril is located inside their skull and is how whales and dolphins vocalize and echolocate.

As opposed to 30 years ago when you could just walk out and never interact with a person again? “They never called me back” is an absolutely ancient trope in dating.
- Comment on Magnetism only feels like magic, because we don't have biological sensors for it 1 year ago:
We can also see a knot and understand that is how the rope is doing what we want. We cant see magnetic fields, nor can we even detect them directly with our senses aside from metal fillings around a magnet. If we could detect magnetic fields like some fish, we would probably find magnets much more intuitive.

I had a fun bug for awhile on GPM were playing my library on shuffle it would mostly play songs that started with P. A 30 minute car ride would have 3 songs that started with P and the other 5-6 would be more random.

Idiots clearly have never even be to SE Michigan, let alone Detroit, and have no clue how automotive supply chains work. Just about every factory and industrial site from Flint to Toledo is producing parts that either get put into Big 3 cars directly or are used to make equipment that are then used. They have had 30 years of NAFTA to figure out how to move that complicated supply chain to Mexico with success, but are still reliant on American industrial might.

If my buddies and spend a month plotting a crimer in my cousin’s spare room, the cousin would be complicit since he knowingly allowed us to use his property for a criminal conspiracy. The USPS doesn’t know what i am sending in the mail since they are a common carrier.

What container is the water in? If it is a mixing cup or glass cup, there will likely be residual fats that linger after washing. There are also various grease,s fats, and other lipids in you water pipes, faucets, and the kitchen air since particles linger around. Everything in a kitchen will start to develop a small film of grease if it isn’t cleaned constantly. It’s not harmful and you have been consuming it for literally your entire life
