- Comment on Th EU iniative for Stop Killing Games has reached the goal of 1 million signatures!! 20 hours ago:
You should have received an email with a receipt if you did sign. In doubt, sign again; signing twice will invalidate the second signature but not the first (confirmed by EU staff).
- Comment on StopKillingGames - Yet another reminder for European citizens to fight for software ownership before the timer runs out. A signature takes mere minutes and preserves many games and lots of fun. 2 days ago:
If this gets enough signatures, the EU will create a review committee, which, if they approve of the initiative, will draft a law for the European Parliament to vote on.

At least we will have an official position, instead of the legal void we’re currently in.
- Comment on The UK Stop Killing Games petition has reached 100.000 signatures 2 days ago:
Correct, although that would be technically illegal but no one will check. However, bots and trolls who spammed faked addresses will most certainly have their signatures invalidated.
- Comment on The UK Stop Killing Games petition has reached 100.000 signatures 2 days ago:
This is a EU initiative but you’re free to create one in the US.
- Comment on The UK Stop Killing Games petition has reached 100.000 signatures 2 days ago:
Not in every country. In about half of them, you only need to provide a name, address and date of birth.
- Comment on Th EU iniative for Stop Killing Games has reached the goal of 1 million signatures!! 2 days ago:
If you’re in the EU, you should still sign; extra signatures will be useful if it turns out some of them are invalid.

Solar panels don’t work as well with greysky.

He wasn’t a game dev apparently. He worked in security, and there are rumors saying he actually was a WoW moderator.
- Comment on Fan-made Mario Kart 64 PC port released, with track editor and ultrawide support 1 week ago:
This game would greatly benefit from a PC port. It barely reaches 15FPS at times on N64, it’s damn near unplayable.

Yes, but if the combine your fingerprint with your IP, they can see that there are 9 unique fingerprints and several others seemingly changing at random, ergo 10 people.

- Comment on Google Play’s latest security change may break many Android apps for some power users. The Play Integrity API uses hardware-backed signals that are trickier for rooted devices and custom ROMs to pass. 5 weeks ago:
Which ones? I’ve been on Boursorama, CA and SG, and they all provide SMS 2FA if you don’t want to use the app.

I’m replaying 2016 right now and it’s the same. There are a handful of enemies, the minor demons are so weak they might as well all be the same. I never use the pistol or Gauss gun. Most weapons are functionally identical, I only switch when I’m out of ammo. When I run low on health, I do a glory kill. Rinse and repeat.
Eternal has much more variety in its combat, and being more frantic makes it more satisfying to chain kills.

- Comment on Mario Kart 64 got finally decompiled! 1 month ago:
What? The best are Wii, DD and 8DX. Even for a handheld game, 7 is terrible. It’s nowhere near as good as DS and has less content than SC. 64 and SMK aren’t much better but at least are not significantly worse than what came before.
