Check out One Pace. It’s a fan edit of the anime without filler.

Dressrosa is easily the worst arc of the anime.

Same as GOG.
- Comment on steam vs gog, which game store to buy from? 3 weeks ago:
No you don’t. Their ToS are very explicit about this. You’re buying licenses, just like on Steam.

The outermost spot is easier to reach with the thumbs. The most used elements of the controller are face buttons and the left stick. Having the left stick in the “secondary” position makes no sense.
- Comment on Our first look at the Steam Machine, Valve’s ambitious new game console 1 month ago:
Exactly. Sony insists on having symmetrical sticks, even though Xbox figured out asymmetric was better back in 2001. Every third party controller has asymmetric switches. Even Nintendo Pro controllers do. Why did Valve choose the objectively worse solution?
- Comment on Our first look at the Steam Machine, Valve’s ambitious new game console 1 month ago:
It’s insane. Seemingly everyone but Sony figured out decades ago it’s a terrible idea, and Valve does it anyway.
At least it has concave sticks, which weren’t on PlayStation until 2013.
- Comment on Every single time I think of restructuring my homelab storage. What do you use for storage engines and how does it benefit you? 1 month ago:
Agreed. RAID is useless. Your drives will never fail before you’d want to replace them with larger ones anyway.

FYI: unless you have a very specific model of CD drive, your PS1 backups aren’t perfect copies. They will work but the copy protection might not have been read properly. It’s not important in 99.9% of use cases. If you need a perfect copy, download NoIntro dumps.

Because Pokémon fell down hard after Gen 5, and has a lot of unrealized potential. It could be great if Nintendo actually cared about delivering a good product.
inb4 “akchually Pokémon games are developed by Game Freaks”
Nintendo has the power to tell them to fuck off if their games continue being worse and worse every year, but don’t.

Right? Kick literally had a mentally ill man die on stream and tried to erase their tracks to avoid responsibility.

There is no reason to use reCaptcha anymore.

It’s all genetics. Some people gain a lot of weight easily, some eat as much as they can but still lose weight.
I’m 5’7 and 130lbs. It took me 3 years to gain 30lbs. Gaining more is legitimately impossible. There simply isn’t enough time in a day to eat enough calories, unless I do nothing else.

Right? It only has 3 games and they’re already talking about a new one? They should give it a few years at least before giving up.

- Granted. The definition of a mile is now 1/60th of the distance travelled by light in an hour.
- This is already the case, as matter travels through time and space at the speed of light. The speed of light is the only speed, the only variable is how much of that speed is used in space or time.

stolen devices are being sold in China for up to £4,000 each, given they are internet-enabled and more attractive for those trying to bypass censorship
I’m guessing buyers specifically want non-Chinese devices, and stealing from individuals is easier than from a factory.

- Comment on Microsoft still can't convince folks to upgrade to Windows 11 3 months ago:
It’s simply the best Windows. Like, it’s still garbage not as good as Linux for anything a bit complex, but at least it’s actually usable, fast, doesn’t feature ads in the start menu, doesn’t have built-in AI shitware, and has a decent customization capability.

This “ackchually, Win10 is good” revisionism that appeared when 11 released is infuriating. When 10 came out, everyone hated it, and now that something even worse exists, somehow the old shit became good?
