- Comment on Playing Morrowind again for the first time in probably 12-15 years, sell me on a character concept. 1 week ago:
House Telvanni is my favorite faction from any Elder Scrolls game. All of the higher ups are insane in a different way, and you can essentially do whatever you want including killing them with little consequence. If you plan to be chaotic evil/neutral, definitely play through their questline.
I also really like the daedric quests, which are very easy to overlook if you don’t wander around or seek them out intentionally.
There are also cool easter eggs to find, including Maiq the Liar, the Captains Guide to the Fishy Stick, Eltonbrand, the Mudcrab Merchant, and Indy’s Note to name a few big ones. There are so many easter eggs in Morrowind and it’s a lot of fun to seek them all out
- Comment on Anyone aware of good (legitimate) spot to get skyrim cheaply other than waiting for a steam sale? the significant other and i would love to run the multiplayer mod and play together but $40 isn't in the cards right now 1 month ago:
The GOG version is currenyly 75% off for $10 until tonight. If you don’t know, GOG is a non-drm storefront that encourages a “you own your games” philosophy. They’re an awesome alternative to Steam and often cheaper too.
I’ve also played the multiplayer mod, and its very fun and works really well. It does require setting up a server and client(s) so a bit of basic networking is involved, but nothing too crazy
