- Comment on Meet the AI vegans: They are choosing to abstain from using artificial intelligence for environmental, ethical and personal reasons. Maybe they have a point 1 hour ago:
I can only imagine someone came up with AI vegan after they decided to eat steak that evening while thinking they’re the ones who are pressed by vegans…

This also happens in Europe… My mom used to work in catering and was officially not allowed to take anything home. “just in case you make/order more so you deliberately take it home”

Secondint Pocket ID. Very lightweight and fast while also doing everything I need.
- Comment on Adblockers stop publishers serving ads to (or even seeing) 1bn web users - Press Gazette 2 weeks ago:
I didn’t mind having a couple of static ads on a page. But now it’s so much. So many dynamic ads, autoplaying videos, popups asking you to sign up to a newsletter, etc. No thanks.

I’ve used Authelia and Authentic. I personally switched to pocket I’d recently. You can integrate lap and groups easily and I’m amazed at how freaking fast it is. Might be a nice experiment next :)

Then why is security not stopping them but stopping everyone else. Fucking hell.

I’m not from the US, so I’m mega confused… Why are they allowed to take this person after the case was dismissed?

Excellent point if searchcord used the api. They created unmarked bot accounts that save all the messages.

It also includes deleted messages. And they refuse to delete things when someone opts out.

Pre-orders on online stores in the Netherlands were really easy.
- Comment on Giant Bomb, a web site about video games, has been purchased from Fandom 2 months ago:
They literally just split off of Fandom. There has been no time to do anything about this.

- Comment on Future of Giant Bomb website in doubt following prominent staff departures 2 months ago:
GB is personality driven, when Alex, Vinny and Brad left, it already felt like a shift to the end. When Gerstmann was let go, GB really seemed doomed.
Fandom dictating what they can and cannot do when the site relies on their personalities and free form content just shows they don’t want the brand or people.
I really love Nextlander. I like fire escape. I miss Gerstmann, but I don’t want to listen to a solo podcast.
I hope the gang can aquire the brand. Fuck…

Intellisense in visual studio has also been really good for over a decade. Which is technically also written by software and not me.

They could’ve just had approved disks and a one time warning when not using them that performance may be degraded and that you wouldn’t get support for questions related to it.

This also reminded me that I should freaking donate monthly to my instance owner since I can afford to.

As a European. Most of the people don’t need a freaking truck. Big or small. In the rare cases you do need to move something, just rent a van. It will save you a lot of gas and money.
