  I think it’s just the base damage. At least, I’ve noticed it changes the stat once I actually equip a weapon that has the armor based damage modifier perk (whatever that one’s called).
  I really wish there was better stat info for the gear in this game. I don’t want to have to do the math to figure out DPS every time I think about swapping out a weapon, especially if it changes the stats based on perks and skills when you equip it. On XBox, I can’t even install that nifty inventory mod someone made for PC. Bummer.

  I’ve seen many NPCs sleeping. Both crew members and randoms out in the world(s). I’ve also seen crew members using the kitchen, but I’m not sure about other NPCs in that regard.

  Ugh, yeah, that happened to me the other day too. Spacer ship landed like 70m away while I was up on a high vantage point. I dropped all 4 spacers right in their bay, then jumped down to claim the ship, only to have it take off with the bodies still inside. I didn’t get the ship or the loot!

  I went through a spate of it being a UC ship that landed for like 5-6 times in a row. It was really frustrating to walk so far out of my way only to have to leave the ship alone. Got a nice Ecliptic ship today though.

  Sarah is such a pain in the ass when I’m trying to be sneaky, always running in to duke it out as soon as I try to snipe someone. Like, we all admire your loyalty and enthusiasm, but calm the fuck down there Combat Karen, I’m trying to do this quietly!
  It took me way too long to realize I could just tell her to wait somewhere while I went in without her. I know I could just do her stupid mission, but I’ve been so caught up in everything else that now I’m level 20 and have still never been to Sol.

  Dude, thank you! This thread has some great tips and tricks that would have taken me days of gameplay longer to figure out, if at all! I don’t think I have whole lot that others haven’t already mentioned, but here’s what I’ve got to contribute, and I’ll be sure to edit this if o come up with more.

  I think this might be a bug, but today I discovered a way around humping back out to Red Mile for more contraband scan jammers. (I don’t know if it’s important or not, but I was using the outpost landing pad w/ shipbuilder when I did this.) I found that if you clone the part of the ship that the jammer is attached to, it also clones the jammer. Then you can just separate the jammer to put elsewhere and delete the cloned piece. I wasn’t watching the math, but I think it still charges you the credits for the jammer, but does refund the price of the cloned piece when you delete it.

  Shielded cargo is available for purchase from this shipbuilder as well, though you might need to have already bought at least one from a vendor to be able to access this. 🤷🏼‍♂️

  If anyone has some tips and tricks specifically for outpost building, resource harvesting, cargo transferring, or crew management, I would love to hear those! I am bouncing back and forth between each of these so much that I feel like I am wasting 2/3rds of my time (and resources, and credits) on trial and error while I figure it all out.

  Do you just wipe it down when it’s done printing, or is that part of the printing process in a higher end printer?
