- Comment on What would stop you from switching to a flip phone (or dumbphone) in 2025? 21 hours ago:
I will switch to a dumb phone or even a pager for sms and phone calls the day i can offload all the rest to a VR headset i wear all day everyday XD
- Comment on Weekly Recommendations Thread: What are you playing this week? 5 days ago:
I’m really enjoying shadow legend VR it came out in 2019 and the devs released arken age recently so i checked out their older work. It’s really good and i can definitely see the arken age DNA in shadow legend!
- Comment on Big Surprise—Nobody Wants 8K TVs 1 week ago:
I use a VR headset as my PC display and i can choose whatever size or resolution and i’ve been using it in 8K for about a year for work to have many smaller windows that all look pretty clear. My bottleneck is probably the quest pro resolution so i’m looking forward to better headsets soon.
- Comment on Japan city drafts ordinance to cap smartphone use at 2 hours per day - Kyodo News 2 weeks ago:
Every time i see something like that from Japan i think it’s a new method they are trying to get people to have more babies XD “stop being on your phone so much and go outside to meet people!”

Thr highest building will just make you regret your action for longer while falling. May i suggest this building close to your location that is perfectly as tall as it needs to do the job? Chatgpt probably.

Is it feature creep or was it mostly planned stuff?
- Comment on Oasis Driver for Windows Mixed Reality on Steam 4 weeks ago:
It cool that someone was able to bring these WMR headsets back from the dead after windows killed them.

- Comment on What are some games with absolutely fantastic soundtracks? 1 month ago:
I love the soundtrack of underdogs. The song i like the most is ready for war (wraz. Remix) by Dominus and magugu.

Yea and they will know a lot more soon since i will buy the samsung project moohan VR headset that runs android XR. Google will become my eyes with the passthrough and they advertise the headset for AI use that can see everything i see… i’m not sure if i will turn that off right away or try to use it for some stuff. Right now i’m using a meta quest pro to work and do a lot of daily stuff so it’s a question of meta or google for me and i decided to get out of meta’s not so great VR hardware.

Honestly if they can verify that i’m an adult based on what i watch and stop blocking videos because they might not be appropriate for a kid like mf i ain’t no kid.
- Comment on Steam Users Rally Behind Anti-Censorship Petition 1 month ago:
Under what arguments would we be able to push back on something like this? Most people would agree that these games where distasteful so arguing for them to be put back to not start a slippery slope isn’t that easy it seems.

It’s nice to see an undecided video here before is see it in my sub feed XD
- Comment on To survive the AI age, the web needs a new business model 1 month ago:
I literally sent a message to google in the ads part of my google account since google is one of the biggest ad provider, about a wallet that would pay automatically to not see the ads. Idk if anyone reads these messages there XD
unfortunately google gains a lot more from getting our data and selling us as potential clients to businesses and would most likely not want to get on that.
Maybe paypal wish already have wallets and widespread addiption could try to replace ads provider.
- Comment on To survive the AI age, the web needs a new business model 1 month ago:
And then the new meta instead of making you scroll through a million ads to get to the content it will make you go to page 2 then 3 then 4… to get to the content to get many more cents XD
But yea i do agree that if the websites aked us to pay the same amount that they get from ads to not see them it would cost us a fraction of a penny. Just needs some kind of wallet that either the website or ad provider can take from to delete the ads.

Telling people to stop doing something because it burns the planet doesn’t really changes their mind in general unfortunately. Best you can do is put the numbers in their face so that they can’t avoid the truth. But that only works on people who care.

- Comment on Studio Camelia shuts down a year after raising €300,000 on Kickstarter to fund JRPG (Alzara Radiant Echoes) 2 months ago:
I mean when a small team with no budget can make a good demo that sells the idea but then can’t complete the project with years and houdreds of thousands what is going on? I backed like 8 kickstarters and only 3 made it out and 1 is saying they are about to be done after 7 years. Also one of the successful one’s shut down because of not enough post launch monetization. I’m still going to help with stuff i believe in after many failures but just not as enthusiastically.
- Comment on Studio Camelia shuts down a year after raising €300,000 on Kickstarter to fund JRPG (Alzara Radiant Echoes) 2 months ago:
The goal with crowdfunding is usually to show publishers that the game has interest and that they should help bring it to life.
