I guess I was thrown when you said a loan for a used car was wild.
- Comment on Based on a true story 38 minutes ago:
0% for a used car?
- Comment on Based on a true story 39 minutes ago:
A car that is the current model year is “used” as long as it’s had an owner. That’s what these loans are for. You can’t even get a loan for cars past seven years old with most lenders.

I think this is more general. Klarna must make the line go up, like any company that participates in capitalism. The obvious BNPL angles have been covered for ages now.

- Comment on Lennox's new extreme cold heat pump operates at as low as -20F 5 weeks ago:
This seems like it’s Lennox advertising to me. Other brands achieve similar or better results. I had to get a new hvac system installed suddenly last April. The unit we went with appear to have the same or better ratings: COOLING SEER2 Up to 23, Cooling EER2 Up to 14, HEATING HSPF2 Up to 10.5, operable as cold as - 22°F.

Totally. But what if we left it where we found it?
I get the economics of the situation (capitalism, etc) , I’m just saying…if there is salt already safely and naturally found underground, why not leave it there and use this byproduct salt that we don’t know what to do with?

Is the ratio of salt produced as a byproduct of desalination of ocean water out of whack compared to the amount used in battery production?
