It’s everything.
Watch advertising that is an annoyance to have to wait through and won’t sway your purchasing decisions in any way, or pay us more money than you would ever consider it worth it to have the no advertisement version.
Oh and we will track your every move on our service so we can work out the best way to
gouge your eyes outextract the most money from you in the future.Legit makes me want to sit down and create “advertising and data tracking free land” to live in. I guess that’s a tropical island in the Pacific.

It would be one of the largest ones accc has handed out?
If I recall, Telstra got a $10m fine once, and at the time that was largest ever.
Yeah just looked.
VW got $125m, Qantas $20m, abnb $15m, then this is 4th I think

Aus put this rule in place because work places were not complying with the safety side.
- Comment on The government is under pressure to ban gambling ads. History shows half-measures don’t work. 3 months ago:
My fav metric from a study done a few years back is about how much Aussies spend per capita on gambling compared to everyone else.
The graph showing every country is a nice linear line as you would expect, up to the number 2 spot, which is the USA. They spend ~$415 per capita per year gambling. And that’s with Vegas, sports betting, the lot.
Number 1 spot is Australia. $2450 per capita per year.
We spend more than the next 5 combined…

While I agree.
Part of me thinks it’s like “we removed the seatbelts from the rollercoaster. It’s now your responsibility to hold on”…
- Comment on Google Chrome warns uBlock Origin may soon be disabled 3 months ago:
I have a hypothetical question on this.
If say, I had a crypto wallet via extension in chrome.
And unlock origin goes away.
I then visit a site I used to visit where pop ups were blocked
Malware gets installed. Crypto wallet gets drained.
Can I sue Google ?
I ask because I do have a tiny wallet that is via extension. Curious how someone with a much larger one on there would go…
- Comment on Ozempic knockoffs flood US market thanks to ‘blind spot’ in FDA rules 3 months ago:
Yep.
There is a guy in Australia who is pumping it hard. He ships to the USA.
You get sketch looking vials of red liquid, with a melted ice pack (who knows when that stopped keeping it cold) that your meant to inject. Not knowing where it was made, how clean the environment was, or what is even in it.
A lot of people showing up in emergency from taking it.
- Comment on YouTube creators surprised to find Apple and others trained AI on their videos 3 months ago:
Google tells everyone at their AI conferences that every frame in every you tube video is automatically indexed with image key tags to help the Google AI learn from every video ever uploaded.
They have the largest database second to none at this point.

- Comment on Polestar Joins Tesla in Departure from Auto Lobby Over Proposed Vehicle Efficiency Standard 8 months ago:
If I get down voted for this commenting against the grain, so be it, but here goes:
I believe that the reason the car companies oppose this is the speed at which it’s being pushed. Not that the regulations need to happen.
My understanding is that it takes a car company 3+ years to design / engineer a vehicle to meet the market standards and regulations. It’s not an overnight process. So the car companies want this to be delayed to give them time to be in market with vehicles that comply with the new regulations.

- Comment on What game fits this? 9 months ago:
It’s not really.
Start with just Bob’s mods suite then.
That alone just adds the extra ores, and not too much else. Really good introduction to an easier overhaul mod. Takes.about 60 hours to finish at a first go
- Comment on What game fits this? 9 months ago:
Install the Bob Angels suite of mods.
It’s the same game, just more ores, liquids, and things to do.
Takes about 120 hours to finish a run through.
