I think we’ve been far more evil towards them than the other way around. We cut the most beautiful of them to make furniture after all.

IN what way would that be evil? They produce the very thing that keeps us alive by transforming what kills us.

Yet you asked “what is this”. Lol, you’re tripping balls mate. Plus who are you to decide what’s good, bad, strong or weak. Especially with some bullshit like “it’s apart from the world” (it’s not, it’s definitely part of it you aren’t transcending dimensions here). Anyway get some sleep.

Give me an example of a better answer to whatever you wrote here. And I wasn’t trying to be insulting I’m sorry. It’s just very hard to understand what you are questionning beyond “society bad! Yes/No?”

What do you think then?
Or did you really only want someone to answer you “It’s hell”? You really read like an angsty teenager who just had it’s first joint and 101 philosophy class.

Ok thanks finally some insight on your thoughts. See how it gives better context than just saying “What is this” and gesticulating towards the internet. Your question was heavily influenced by prejudice.
Most of the talk does not refer to fantasy, that is a great example of some “unempirical evidence”. Some do, a lot don’t, you need to be able to filter that. Sure If you look for it, the worst will appear. But stop mindlessly reading what pops in front of you and make some active research and your worldview might change.
The rest is just you thinking out loud. Nobody takes everything so seriously all the time about every subject. Honestly I’m thinking you are falling for what you seem so concerned about. Look away from the endless stream sometimes. Search for your own source of news. Make your own change. The world certainly looks grim if we let rampant capitalism unleashed, but you are not proposing anything here. This here post is you disguising a rant into a question.

Sorry my man but you are not clear at all. I’m trying to understand what you do not understand about people talking with each other. There’s nothing more to it. It’s neither good nor bad nor strong or weak, it’s just a discussion. What happens afterwards with the information each gathered from the discussion is different but we need context. It’s what the discussion is ABOUT that is important not the discussion in itself.
So give us some context. Are you talking about journalism in media or are you also questioning whether we should discuss our hobbies with like minded individuals? Are you implying there’s something wrong with social media because it allow anyone to talk with anybody about anything?
WIthout answers to these your questions is pointless I’m afraid.

A conversation, simply. There’s no requirements for having a discussion. That’s what we do, we speak to each other whether for good or bad.
And just in case because I’m still not completely sure if you are actually asking something or just making a social comment on online media; The literal antonym to what you seem to describe would be a “subjective” or “speculative” discussion. There’s other antonyms but I’ll let you search those out to see which fits your need.

What is your question though? Yes online forums exist, yes the information is often unempirical. But what is your question here? What is the “this” you are questionning yourself about? Are you asking why people debate each other? Why people are curious about subjects even though they are wrong? I just don’t get what you are trying to say here.

Can you elaborate? I can find articles that say there have been layoffs but what does that mean for the platform and how it supports the artists? Is it basically dead and not worth using anymore? I want the large majority of my money to go to the artist not the label or platform shareholders, is there something similar to bandcamp in that regard? Don’t suggest physical media please a lot of artist either don’t make any or are extremely difficult to find and buy.

Yes there are. The game is once again a consecutive series of fetch quests. It’s always “go/get/kill X” and comeback to quest giver. You also spend most of your time fast travelling back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back again. Almost every decision is also “choose a side” New Vegas Style, which is not bad perse but the fucking quests though are just a chore of repetition. Enemies are dumb as rocks and soo easy to kill at every level they’re just more or less bulletspongy.
Timing and events also don’t matter. Completing faction quests do absolutely nothing except for loot. Nobody acts differently, the enemies stay the same the world just keeps trucking as it was. Everything is just constanstly stagnating, waiting for the player to complete the necessary main quests. That sucks, that sucked in Fallout, that sucked in Skyrim yet here we are 2023 new ip, crazy new competition in RPGS but they didn’t work on that.
AI is also abysmally bad. My companions make a habit of standing in doors (not just companions btw), running in front of my sights or grenades, go leeroy jenkins on the first enemy they see while I’m sneaking, etc, etc… If I didn’t need the inventory space, I would never recuit any of them.
I’ll end with the only good thing for me and it was ship building. Great new implementation in both design and interaction with the player. It’s also super rewarding to hunt for ships or highjack them when they land or by spending the points and maxing the skills to build massive destroyers. Great addition to a space faring RPG. Unfortunately Bethesda can’t do UI’s so both ship building and outpost building are such a pain to navigate and don’t allow basic control features (basically unchanged from f4 in that reason).
So yeah game not real good. Looks flashy and all but ultimately it’s just the same old skyrim klunker under the hood and it shows. They seriously overlooked how RPGs have come forward. Writing is also completely overshadowed by the chore that is the main gameplay loop. Anyway your mileage may vary. But I felt like the complain of OP could easily be attributed to a lazy studio that didn’t do much more than slap a paint job on an old beater.

Cause the game is not that good and engaging.

Hit the nail right on the head. This is kust a company trying to rebrand helicopters. And bad helicopters at that. They are banking on naive people who think this is actually a novel and viable technology. It will at the very best be another toy for the super wealthy to send the kids to Disney.
