I hate these mid contract rises. BT/EE are always ridiculous in what they rip you off for each year.
As a Zen broadband customer though I’d highly recommend them!
- Comment on Pothole reports hit a five-year high in 2023 10 months ago:
The ones round here that are fixed are done so poorly that they usually need doing again within a year!

Also because of the reasons you’ve said it means theres also no consequences to actions any more because of stretched public services

- Comment on We'll bulldoze local blocks on housing, says Keir Starmer 1 year ago:
The only local objections I have to large estates being built are services.
Round here in the Midlands they’ve built these massive estates everywhere and not upgraded any infrastructure at all. All the public services are maxed out, schools all full etc

- Comment on Starmer promotes Blairites as Labour thoughts turn to governing 1 year ago:
At this point all Labour need to do is show even mild competence and they’ll probably win.
Also they’re not in-fighting and back stabbing each other like the tories are, which is another win!

I’ve had a fair few near misses with electric scooters both walking and driving. The main problem is kids who sadly have no road sense and don’t appreciate the dangers.

I thought I’d have to put something in place but it still worked afterwards lol
- Comment on Most motorists want noise cameras installed to clamp down on loud cars 1 year ago:
Well theres no deterrent these days.
Another one is those electric scooters, they’re a real menace!
- Comment on [HN] We Ruined Status LEDs; Here’s Why That Needs to Change 1 year ago:
They do love bright blue LEDs in wireless chargers. I opened mine up and de-soldered the LEDs, they don’t really serve any purpose anyway as you can see on the phone screen if its charging or not!
- Comment on Most motorists want noise cameras installed to clamp down on loud cars 1 year ago:
Its motorbikes round my way that are stupidly loud. Not even kidding you can hear some of them a mile away. I know this because I can see the road about a mile away and still hear them!
- Comment on Nearly two-fifths of robberies in London last year were for mobile phones 1 year ago:
Even if they’re blocked I think that only applies to certain countries too. So they likely just get sent abroad and used there!
