And yet id rather listen to the same ten records over and over again in my grandparents big old house than listen to anything at home in my tiny cramped apartment.

We still have no clue how magnetism works either lol.
These LLM are just new technology, they had the same complaints about cars a hundred years ago too, and yes lots of people die in car crashes nowadays and how many more from the industry and pollution? But we move forward, humanity makes progress most centuries, idk maybe this century is one of those steps backwards, but we gotta stop acting like everything that happens today is unprecedented. We’re a blink of an eye in terms of just human history much less cosmic history.

Interesting because i think i identified the same problem as you but i think of it as delusion. A lot of people (most people?) honestly believe that being smart means figuring things out with little effort. But all the smartest people ive ever met are extremely well organized and hardworking BECAUSE they’re so smart. They’re able to see the big picture and have a very sharp insight that problems are solved with an organized well planned approach, which often involves a lot of tedium.
Smart people aren’t bored by that, they see how the tedium ties directly into success/solutions/rewards. Dumb people really believe that they can be smart by divining solutions and that could not be further from the truth

Yeah you can’t solve all the problems, but you can choose to be part of the solution. Ultimately if a country of millions of people thrives or fails, it’ll never be up to one person.

Herodotus was writing about this stuff 3,000 years ago. Idk i like to think it’s better over the centuries but there’s always gonna be lying pieces of shit and idiots ready to eat that shit up.

I mean he also beat and tortured his own sailors who then unanimously reported him to the crown upon return. columbus was a massive piece of shit human being in every way, not just committing crimes against Native Americans.

What’s a match 3 game?

No, except flight simulator which is not a game lol
Team computer games teach you how to be extremely toxic teammate that would get into a fistfight playing a real sport, strategy games teach you how to abuse minmax imperfect game balancing, manager games teach you how to abuse computer accepting dumb trades, impostor games hmm yes they do teach you how to be a lying sociopath so maybe it would be good training for CEOs.

My dude, i love video games with a passion and i benefit greatly from having been a kid who mess with .ini files and making cracked software work, but the actual playing of video games does not train you for anything besides that particular genre of video games. If you aren’t having fun then just stop, maybe find a new game.
- Comment on these people are the worst 2 months ago:
All true, then they act like it’s a problem they dont olay their game. It’s video games it’s to waste time, if you dont play them literally nothing of value is lost, so play them or don’t it’s just not a big deal either way we have real problems in this world unfortunately

I mean yeah but it should match you with similarly skilled players so it doesn’t matter if you’re good or bad?

Ranked gets you a balanced game though, unranked is usually a shit show and just as hard to win because your teammates might be trolling
