Do you feel better now?
- Comment on What game fits this? 9 months ago:
Starfield. People played for 700 hows then wrote a bad review then play for another 300 hours . Bro if you put 1000 hours into a game there was obviously something you liked about it.

Since this entire thread is just people shitting on the first game i figured id be a little different and say something good about the game. I very much liked the first one. Super weird but intriguing story super well acted awesome visuals and stunning graphics. If you like weird unique sifi stories you’ll enjoy it. Its a slow relaxing game with some pretty intense stealth. I can’t wait for the second one. Tho i do wish kojima would move on and make something more akin to metal gear plus death standing. His recent announcement the other day seems to confirm he will be doing that game after ds 2.

Even after kanyes recent craziness i highly doubt hes only worth 400 mil.

The Internet does this thing where it makes some things popular to hate. Starfield is definitely one of those things.

The story telling is what really did it for me. I consider witcher 3 to be the greatest game I’ve ever played. The quality of that game is still extremely high even to today’s standards.

How did you lose alpha access? I paid 45 bucks several years ago haven’t reported a single bug and have played on and off for years and I still have access.

I only spent 45. I’m not unhappy about that purchase. But I pretty much understood what they are trying to deliver is going to take a very very long time. So I guess I’m not mad about it because I wasn’t expecting to actually buy a completed game for that 45. It’s not the first time I’ve jumped on an early access game so I was fully expecting to wait and the things I’ve seen look so awesome I’m perfectly happy waiting till it’s done. But shit I am going to get squadron 42 plus the base game so IDK I’m happy with that.

I really confused by all this hate. Has anyone here actually tried to play the actual game? It’s pretty damn impressive what they have now.

You know you can literally play the game right now?

Everyone says everything is “broken” now. The game loop absolutely works so it’s not broken Yet it is flawed.

Imo the reason pvp got so little attention is because of how poorly it was implemented. They could do it right and I bet it would be a lot more popular. But you’re probably right about me not being their target audience anymore.

I’m someone who started playing 76 from the beta. I disagree with you. I think 76 is now an endless pinata. All they mostly add are stuff to unlock and events every once in awhile. I wanted more missions and I really wish they would bring back survival mode but make it better. I really don’t care very much for the endless seasons they decided to go with.
- Comment on No More Will to Play 1 year ago:
It’s a totally different kind of game. No real point in comparing the 2.

I’m around 200 hours and I’m running into the same thing. I really love the game but you can’t just go on random adventures like you could in other Bethesda games. I’m really waiting till survival mode. I really wish I needed to care about fuel or food or the atmosphere of the planet or something. But as of now I can teleport to anywhere with basically zero resistance playing on the hardest difficulty still the game is very very easy. I thought the main missions were some of Bethesda’s best ever. But man just playing the game there aren’t those little random adventures you could go on like other Bethesda games. I’m sure once the mod tools release and we get a dlc I’ll come back but as for now there isn’t much reason to return.

I haven’t gotten it set up yet. But I thought it would be worth it to set up a fabricator to make components to sell. The components sell for a decent amount and if you can a couple out posts gathering materials and making components I bet you could make a ton of money pretty quickly.
- Comment on Now that we've had SF for a bit, what do you think? Good, flawed, bad? 1 year ago:
The animals are definitely pretty impressive. I wasn’t expecting much in that department but they did a great job. I’ve seen the AI do a lot more than I was expecting. Once I saw a heard if passive creatures swarm a predator and kill it then all of them started celebrating their kill. Lol

I’m very much enjoying it. The longer you play the more things open up to you. The story is probably the most interesting story I’ve ever played in a Bethesda game. It is absolutely overwhelming for the first 50 hours or so. But the longer you play the more it opens up the more you learn. And on top of all of that the mods. My God the mods for this game are going to be amazing.
