shouldn’t those service providers wait until the total is $100 before they started to receive my money due to cost associated to sending and receiving money then?
- Comment on Tech Used to Be Bleeding Edge, Now it’s Just Bleeding | After a decade of scandals and half-assed product launches, people are no longer buying the future Big Tech is selling. 9 months ago:
I think VR is doing OK
According to Steam has more number users than either Mac or Linux
And just Quest 2 alone has 20 millions unit sold, same number as XBOX Series X/S that released on the same year
I don’t think the situation is that bad - Comment on Tesla is banned from driving schools because of new turn signals 10 months ago:
the article says that it’s more difficult to use this turn signal in the roundabout ( as the button is on the wheel so its position shifted along with the steering wheel, as opposed to the static position of the stalk ) and the driver has to shift a part of their attention to locate the button The person who found this also ask other instructors and they agreed, that’s why they’re not buying this model
but IMO if I’m a ownwer of a driving school looking to buy new cars for students, I’d pick more generic one too. Students would prefer to learn how to operate most cars than a specific model. Like how most music school would prefer normal guitar than double neck guitar
- Comment on Tesla Has The Highest Accident Rate Of Any Auto Brand 10 months ago:
Are you comparing with other cars at the same price range or cheaper cars? I don’t know but based from my experience, compared to some other brands although Tesla are better than some cheaper models of other brands, some are better than Tesla if you compared to the models with the same price range Yes, some brands might be worse, but Tesla is far from being the best
- Comment on Interesting how artists don't make enough money from their creations, so our solution is to make certain information illegal to share, rather than give them a universal basic income. 1 year ago:
With how advanced the current technology is, people are actually no longer need to work in order to survive or have basic necessities. But artificial pressure were created so people have to help amassing the wealth for billionaires/corporates.
Sure, there might be some people who’re want to do nothing and live in as a lowest class without anything other than basic necessity but there would be very small amount of them as human usually strive for the better QoL. And we also shouldn’t just let people die if they don’t want to work. If they want to be at the bottom of the society, just let them be. “You have to work in order to survive”-Age actually should have ended long ago if not for the severe inequality issue we’re having. Yes, it won’t solve EVERY problem but it wil solve MANY problems and there aren’t many downside to it other than billionaires having lower number in their bank accounts. And drugs, alcholism, and theft issues weren’t caused by being jobless, it caused by many issues like lacking proper education, bad upbringing, security issues, and being penniless. Also alcoholism problem among the poor is actually a cognitive bias. According to the statistics, middle class has more alcoholism issues than the lower class
- Comment on Microsoft now pops up a poll asking why you'd want to use another browser when you download Chrome 1 year ago:
I’ve been using tree style tab on firefox for maybe almost 10 years and rarely have any issue unless the firefox update broke it which also rarely happens
