I just rinse off the plunger in the new toilet water. Never had an issue.

I think what he might be saying is running a Plug in hybrid only on gas takes more than a regular hybrid because of the extra weight. That makes sense to me but I’m not sure if that’s what he means

Honestly I wouldn’t even mind an old school looking radio with Bluetooth especially if they used the big center for a battery or something. But push buttons are antithesis to a rotary phone

Push button rotary 🤢

It depends what they’re on. On a tile floor yeah you’ll probably slip. On a sidewalk? Very unlikely unless it’s rotting and mushy

The wiper thing used to be an issue for sure, thankfully now you can use the wheel buttons to do it. Also for turning you really don’t need to look at anything. I’m not saying people don’t but you don’t need to. There are still a few things that are somewhat annoying mainly the defrost/defog but I feel like I look the same amount as I did in my other car to push those buttons as well
- Comment on Tesla again threatens to sue Cybertruck buyers who try to resell the cars 11 months ago:
I am in Canada and at the time I hadn’t skied before so that wasn’t a concern. But there was the leaf and the bolt really were the only 2 other available cars. And the base model 3 was only about 3-5k more than the others and it had a better range and the supercharger network so for me it made no sense to get anything besides the model 3
- Comment on Tesla again threatens to sue Cybertruck buyers who try to resell the cars 11 months ago:
I don’t feel embarrassed but when I bought mine it was far and away the best value. Now there’s many more options and teslas are priced way higher than them. I’ve tried out a couple of them and my next car probably won’t be a Tesla due to price more than anything.

My problem is that I can’t even back up in reduced quality without it just deleting the original off my phone. Leave my phone alone I have the storage I just want the extra backup. So now I use no backup at all
- Comment on what budget 3d printer would you suggest for a beginner? 1 year ago:
I wouldn’t recommend water washable even though it’s cheaper not using IPA it’s more cumbersome and possibly expensive to dispose of it. You can just dump it down the drain

My first car was just over 300. My Tesla is just under 600
- Comment on The EV transition trips over its own cord 1 year ago:
It’s definitely insanely expensive. To me it was worth it though. Comparing the cost to my old car, which some would say was too high of a monthly payment anyway, although I made do, it was only 300 dollars more.
And gas here on Vancouver Island is like 200 dollars a month minimum. So for me, the cost was about the same overall, and I vastly prefer having the electric car.
But I know it’s a very high amount that most people don’t want to pay and I don’t blame anyone. But anyone who buys a new car or has an insane payment I don’t understand.

- Comment on DoorDash now warns you that your food might get cold if you don’t tip 1 year ago:
Them being contractors is legal bullshit. Many of the apps forbid you from running other apps at the same time, they assign orders to you, it’s not an open list, and if you deny too many orders most of the apps will stop assigning you orders. They’re de facto employees that the companies lie about to not pay taxes and benefits
