It’s even worse than that. You can buy seeds from the market place have no agreement with Monsanto but can’t plant those seeds.

- Comment on Even Google Calendar isn't safe from hackers any more 1 year ago:
They are encoding commands in calendar events there is not a vulnerability in Google calendar. After your device is compromised its commanded to subscribe to a calendar. Those events have commands. Since checking your calendar is a normal event unlike connecting to a nefarious server it becomes more difficult to discover.

Fire TV, Android 10, what ever os is running on my smart TV… I have issues everywhere
- Comment on Dish Loses 64,000 Net Pay TV Subscribers as Satellite Losses Outweigh Sling TV Gains 1 year ago:
Sling would gain so many more customers if they could have a functioning ui on their app. You shouldn’t have to force stop and restart the app multiple times a day.

- Comment on US immigration enforcement used an AI-powered tool to scan social media posts "derogatory" to the US | "The government should not be using algorithms to scrutinize our social media posts" 1 year ago:
Looking at someone’s post history != following a person around.
Further following someone around is not stalking there has to be an action that would make someone fear being harmed.
- Comment on US immigration enforcement used an AI-powered tool to scan social media posts "derogatory" to the US | "The government should not be using algorithms to scrutinize our social media posts" 1 year ago:
The AI system searches public posts, it’s not able to read DMs, it doesn’t have login credentials.

Public posts have no expectation of privacy.
- Comment on Boeing says it can’t make money with fixed-price contracts 1 year ago:
The forecasts for FFP projects have competitive forces pushing them down. Many times they will underbid to win than hope everything goes perfect or they can find a way to weasel out of it.
- Comment on Apple jacks prices to juice profits because $19.3B a quarter isn't enough 1 year ago:
The power to buy a product or not is all the power. Consumers may be apathetic about a price raise but they are still choosing.

- Comment on Misinformation Is Warfare 1 year ago:
It’s not just fox news, cBS presented easily identifiable fabricated documents that showed criticisms of GWB when he served in the guard. You can go to any news source and find instances of them fabricating stories. The Pulitzer Prize is names after the king of yellow journalism, who pushed the US into war with his false claims.
- Comment on GOP Mayoral Candidate Says She Won't 'Discriminate' Against White Supremacists 1 year ago:
The article made the claim he said he was a “literal Nazi”. To most people the literal part is a cue that the author is exaggerating. Never the less what has he done? Has he rounded up “undesirables” in concentration camps? Has he participated in a genocide?
- Comment on GOP Mayoral Candidate Says She Won't 'Discriminate' Against White Supremacists 1 year ago:
The Nazis did do more than just think differently, their thoughts didn’t round up millions of Jews and slaughter them. Their actions is what should have been stopped but they were brainwashed into thinking the people they were mistreating deserved it. The people you want oppress are not nazis and were not part of a genocide in the 40’s. You labeled them nazis to justify mistreating them.
- Comment on GOP Mayoral Candidate Says She Won't 'Discriminate' Against White Supremacists 1 year ago:
The paradox of tolerance has to do with being tolerant of abhorrent ideas. It has nothing to do with mistreating people that think different than you.
- Comment on GOP Mayoral Candidate Says She Won't 'Discriminate' Against White Supremacists 1 year ago:
Using those tactics makes you no better than them. You don’t get moral high ground because the people you treated poorly are the “bad guys”.
- Comment on GOP Mayoral Candidate Says She Won't 'Discriminate' Against White Supremacists 1 year ago:
I’m always amazed at how the people who rail against nazis and facism always want simular policies that fascists and nazis used.

She was his realtor, I though you guys didn’t want buisness to discriminate against people.
- Comment on Clarence Thomas Wants to Go After Freedom of the Press 1 year ago:
Words have meaning, when you use the wrong words out of ignorance, hyperbole, or malice it diminishes what you are saying.
Read what I posted a little more closely “acted due to a gift.” The two articles you keep posting show no evidence of that.
- Comment on Clarence Thomas Wants to Go After Freedom of the Press 1 year ago:
Conflict of interest != bribery Unethical behavior != bribery
Bribery is a gift for an action. Nothing you have posted shows that Thomas acted due to a gift.
- Comment on Clarence Thomas Wants to Go After Freedom of the Press 1 year ago:
A bribe is more than a gift, there needs to be an action to betray their responsibly, ie undue influence. Your parents are not bribing you by buying you a birthday gift.

If they were only saving 1% on costs I doubt they’d risk the bad reputation 10% makes it more appetizing.
- Comment on Toyota Will Adopt Tesla-Style Cast Bodies That Might Be Impossible to Fix 1 year ago:
It’s more than a couple hundred dollars. Production time will drop from 10 to 5 hours per car. The tooling and multiple parts eliminated from large casts will save thousands.
- Comment on More Than 80 Percent Of Americans Can’t Afford New Cars 1 year ago:
I have no idea why the Dacia Sandero is not brought to the US. $15,000 for a new car. They would be competing with the mirage and Rio all of which cost much more and are lower quality.

- Comment on Netflix is planning to raise prices… again 1 year ago:
I’m sure they did the math they’ve calculated that the increases will offset the loss is subscribers. From the article it looked like the royalties will increase so less subscribers paying more is even more profitable.
