A steamer, Iron and that wrinkle spray stays close. “We”, nope.

This is the most Omni Consumer Products situation.
- Comment on EA wants to place in-game ads in its full-price AAA games, again 6 months ago:
I was going to read all of this until I got to “provide some option to pay more and not have ads” . Zero chance this would ever end in a consumer friendly way after that first payment.

The rack isn’t even attached to the rails in this picture. So not that weird.

These are weird?
- Comment on Skyrocketing bluesky engagement since opening to the public 9 months ago:
They started moving people to the Federated server last year to test things. I didn’t see this article but people were openly talking about moving over on Bluesky. So thanks for posting this because I always see people say it’s not getting Federated on Lemmy, but see people on Bluesky say it is, confusing.
- Comment on Music Piracy Is Back, Baby 9 months ago:
No they don’t. I don’t have a problem with let me listen to this to see if I should buy it. That’s totally understandable. People who just do it to get everything free is what I have a problem with. If you really like the work find a way to support them because those numbers open doors to bigger opportunities.
Totally agree on the show’s and I’ve seen some big name artists at small shows randomly. Also some really good merchandise.
- Comment on Music Piracy Is Back, Baby 9 months ago:
Piracy creates an endless loop of artists taking advances and eventually losing royalties. That’s just what I’ve seen growing up in the music /film/ TV industry and briefly working in both. Screw labels and Spotify but go support artists and actually buy stuff.

Moved to Lemmy, best choice ever.
- Comment on The Cybertruck Is a Disappointment Even to Cybertruck Superfans / Looking at the specs alone, the car is delivering 30 percent less range than expected for 30 percent more money 11 months ago:
I’m glad I’m not the only person who felt that vibe from it. I could feel the new tech being reviewed hype, but he wasn’t totally into it. When he stood on the trunk I could totally see he was giving his all.

- Comment on Sony’s PlayStation Portal gives a confusing first impression 1 year ago:
As an owner of 2 Vita’s that didn’t use this feature on PS3, PS4, zero chance I’d buy this to do it on PS5.
- Comment on Samsung is planning a 400-500$ foldable for 2024 1 year ago:
I was looking at the bigger foldables and came to the reality I don’t need it. Ended up getting a RAZR+. I’ll never be able to go back to a full size phone now because of the size. I’ve just gotten used to using the outer screen and hope this size keeps getting better.
- Comment on Millennials: It's ok to mourn the death of social media 1 year ago:
I use both and mainly curious because it doesn’t take as much as Mastodon to show you what you want to see. Or maybe I think that because I came from Mastodon to Bluesky, but I understand what both are. People know what Bluesky is but when I bring up Mastodon people are not really interested. Jack Dorsey is also no longer involved.
- Comment on Millennials: It's ok to mourn the death of social media 1 year ago:
Bluesky now has a federated server and moving people over. I’m curious how that’s going to play out.

A recall is better than the class action lawsuit going on for the normal Mustang transmission issues.
- Comment on Ford Delays $12 Billion in EV Investments Due To UAW Strike Impact and Slow Consumer Demand 1 year ago:
Make actual Electric cars, not a 90k electric pickup, or a “Mustang” EV crossover. The truck I get because the F-150 runs auto sales charts but nobody was, is, buying it. A majority of those crowds are not really EV friendly so why they went all in seems silly.

No doubt in my mind they’ll remove you from the fast charge network if you plug this in the U.S. Even more now as this is making rounds online.
- Comment on Elon Musk wants to merge humans with AI. How many brains will be damaged along the way? 1 year ago:
This sounds like the beginning of RoboCop 2. Specifically the part when OCP is trying to make a new RoboCop and the test RoboCops flip out. That’s kinda how I see this playing out.
- Comment on People Want Threads to Be Old Twitter. Threads Would Prefer Not To. 1 year ago:
This explains why I was seeing so many Furries at first. Dialed in the Feeds and don’t see them anymore but I was confused at first
- Comment on People Want Threads to Be Old Twitter. Threads Would Prefer Not To. 1 year ago:
I think the invite system slows people joining vs Threads easy sign up. I agree that it is straight up old Twitter and enjoying myself on it. I just started getting invites , they go fast but definitely give them out. Seems like every time I see a post about it I don’t have a code to give out. Definitely need to just keep one on deck for the Lemmy comment section.

- Comment on Bluesky sees record signups day after Musk says X will go paid-only 1 year ago:
I got an invite from the only person I actually know on it and it’s not bad. I’m interested, but still messing around with it to get the most out of it.
- Comment on Will you be willing to pay for using Twitter? 1 year ago:
The only thing that would get me to do it is for sports. It would have to have the games, shows, commentary nonsense and be able to live chat with other fans /players. A full experience of sports. Outside of that not a chance.
