It’s used for a lot of things you don’t want people awake for. It’s nice that Florida includes that in their murders

I’m firmly a millennial and know dragonball from the version where the ::: spoiler Pig guy wishes for underwear at the end ::: I have no problem believing gen xers were too old for the dragonball I remember and the later ones on cartoon network or wherever.
- Comment on Is a budget 3-2-1 home-server backup (one NAS + one cloud + weekly clones) actually enough, or am I kidding myself? 6 days ago:
My off-site is an old laptop plugged into my sister’s router. I connect to it through tailscale.
- Comment on Is it insane to run a home server on an old laptop instead of a Raspberry Pi for self-hosting - what do I need to worry about? 6 days ago:
I use laptops a lot for servers. They have batteries and keyboard/monitors if you can’t ssh in for some reason. No reason not to use something you have

That’s my understanding. I’m not native to the yinz area I’ve just worked with people who said it.

I know 6/4 is a classy choice but it seems unnatural to have two beats with three 0.25 notes apiece.

- Comment on openDesk 1.7: Modern project management and more stability 1 month ago:
I think I’ll look into the separate components of this. I’ve been trying to figure out which project management software I want to host for both my house and my business. I’m trying to keep track of time, expenses, deadlines etc for the business and similar but more schedule oriented stuff for the home. One portal would be cool but not necessary really. Only 5 users or so. I’ve never worked anywhere with “project management” so maybe I need something else. That’s the fun though. Trying stuff out!

Don’t sell the Internet short. It also brings a lot of pointless suffering to others as well

The Internet is a big place. There are lots of cat memes that don’t depict any suffering at all.

I was in a thread once where someone who knew the male in this meme posted the headshot and bio from his job at the time. He looked about the same. Every time I see this image used it unobjectifies meme people for me for a little while.

- Comment on This will help me. I always have a problem hearing regular sized print books 2 months ago:
I think this has to do with the words per minute read back speed. I find that audiobooks from books with large font are read slower than the audiobook versions of books with smaller type. The last two audiobooks I’ve heard are The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Project Hail Mary. The former was read more slowly than the latter and had about 3 to 4 times bigger type.
- Comment on Memories. And we thought it could never get any better than this 2 months ago:
I would have done shameful things for that dl speed in 1998.
