Gutenberg.org and go to browse / random Do mundane things like make shopping lists… Look up recipes to cook for the weekend. Get a note taking app and organize lists of things you need to get to or want to get to. I use Google keep but there are a bunch. Research things you always wanted to.

Don’t play in pure survival mode… Play where water and food are not needed and you’ll have plenty of time for Subnautica.

Two all time favs …both played in the dark with headphones. F.e.a.r and Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
- Comment on Root cause for why Windows 11 is breaking or corrupting SSDs may have been found 1 week ago:
I can’t understand where something so trivial and minor like hdr would be more important than not having copilot and one drive shoved down your throat. Personally if I never had any hdr features I wouldn’t bat an eye. Not saying you don’t have a point.

My big turn on for AOL is all you needed was a checking account and bam you were in. No credit card required. You still ran out of minutes way too fast.

I had that game and I think it was a late 80s thing. Even more fun if you replaced it’s original rubber bands with much beefier ones.

I learned reality based shows suck.
- Comment on Adobe turns subscription screw again, telling users to pay up or downgrade 3 months ago:
Most probably didn’t learn in school - they learned because they pirated the software. This used to be a boon for Adobe as by mostly ignoring piracy they were training the workforce in private. Somewhere along the lines Adobe got greedy and will eventually pay the price as they won’t own the landscape forever. Software like Blender is already allowing people to not buy the poison that is After effects in some cases.

You need to go to Sam’s or Costco and buy meat in bulk. Buying it from the supermarket is what kills you.
- Comment on Inflation markers 4 months ago:
Not much at all. I’ve made salmon, venison, and beef jerky - at most the meat contracts maybe 18 to 20 percent in size. If you have a multi level dehydrator and do it in bulk you can make it very cheap. Bonus is you can season it any way you like. I love teriyaki salmon and super spicy beef with mustard powder and onion.
- Comment on Soviet-era spacecraft plunges to Earth after 53 years stuck in orbit 4 months ago:
I hope they find it. If it didn’t hit water it would be a really neat part of space history. I’m assuming it didn’t kill anyone as we would have heard about it by now. Kind of surprising we don’t have a pinpoint location or anything, I always assumed we had some radar net that would be able to track entry objects but maybe that went away with the former cold war.

In the situation that you are putting food flavorings in your lungs. Not made to go there… if you’re just vaping pure pg / vg that’s different. Look up popcorn lung for an example of why food flavorings should not be inhaled.

I like those groceries…except the soda is bad for you and expensive /wasting money. Ditch the soda for water which mixes with whiskey just fine. Also Coors is like making love in a canoe.
