They’re still knocking on doors and slowly getting some to open. Since the last hearings, it seems like a few more whistleblowers have come out as well as more support from officials within to speak on it.
I can kind of understand how this is all behind a ton of red tape and some things can’t be said for national security reasons. But the committee seems to be very interested and dedicated on getting more disclosure and opening up records to the budgets used up for these secret programs.
I will say that everyone testifying assured that they knew UAP and NHI exists, and a few small hints were dropped during this hearing that can help us infer what exactly we might be dealing with. One example is when Rep. Luna was speaking and asked if Mr. Elizondo would agree if they craft “are piloted by some mind-body connection”, to which he said that “…they are being intelligently controlled… in some cases seem to anticipate our maneuvers”, which is super interesting to think about.
(Just my theory here, but maybe some craft exist within a flux of time and space which allows them to react in “bullet time” or phase in and out of time/space while connecting to the observers mind too.)
Also in regards to the report by Shellenberger about Project Immaculate Constellation, reports of the UAPs seem to be followed with things like “shared awareness with the triangle craft.” Excuse me?!
All of this is on record and will hopefully work towards full disclosure about what’s out there, even if they omit how they know or what they’ve learned because of reverse engineering that maybe have occurred.

Damn. Going from 8 days to almost 8 months must be pretty shitty news for the astronauts. I get that it’s all defined as a test and these things can happen, but it’s not a good look for Boeing at all.

With all the impacts the moon seems to take, is there any footage of a new crater being made? That would be super cool to see.

I used to use the prepaid approach a lot, but recently it seems like some companies are rejecting them. Mainly seeing it happen with subscription based services.
- Comment on Men over 30, what do you keep in your bedside nightstand? 6 months ago:
Home defense is only normal in the 19th century? I have kids and own guns, not sure what else would be expected.
- Comment on Men over 30, what do you keep in your bedside nightstand? 6 months ago:
Inside I keep extra meds and a small gun safe. On top is usually water, Nintendo DS, a book, and my jewelry. When I’m lazy you’ll find little nebulizer vials on top too.
- Comment on Men over 30, what is the hardest part of balancing a work / home life? 7 months ago:
Just recently got out of a really well-paying full time, work from home programming gig because of difficulty with finding that balance. Not having to commute obviously saves me a ton of time in the day, but it started becoming really hard to separate work from home.
But the hardest part was the lack of energy and mental space to really enjoy my time with the family. I struggled hard with keeping work thoughts away when not “at work”. Some days I would try to start work a little early to have more time in the afternoon, but then by the time the kids were home from school, settled, homework, showers, dinner, I was totally shot. I was either super tired, in a funk from a crappy day, or on the rare days I was good, they wanted to do their own thing which they totally have the right to do.
This was probably due to the work environment always being high-pressure and getting constant promises of better a pace for the team that never came, so if the job was a little better I would’ve maybe not have dealt with those issues.

- Comment on Which software do you mostly use for programming, and why? 1 year ago:
Was on VSCode, tried switching to neovim, ended up with JetBrains Goland. I might try neovim again but getting everything setup and learning new shortcuts was starting to eat up my work productivity. With Goland I have everything I need in one place.
It probably didn’t help that at the same time, I also tried to learn to use a moonlander with a different keyboard layout.

- Comment on Game wikis just aren't as popular anymore? 1 year ago:
The company wouldn’t be the ones in charge of handling the wikis content. It would be up to the community like is being done now in other cases.
I’m mainly saying that it would be helpful if they provided the space vs it being done by independent companies/orgs.
- Comment on Game wikis just aren't as popular anymore? 1 year ago:
That’s a good point. Fan hosted wikis have the same issue unless they’re maintained and funded by users. Big wiki companies are becoming scummy.
I get not every game is on steam, and not everyone games on PC, but maybe Steam could implement something like this as I don’t think they’re going anywhere anytime soon.
Or maybe we need to bring back good ol printed game guides.
- Comment on Game wikis just aren't as popular anymore? 1 year ago:
I get that wikis cost a little time and money to host and run them, but the studios/devs should offer up a wiki on release that could be moderated by a combo of employees and/or volunteers. They’re losing the opportunity to drive community engagement and keep it all close by letting these big wiki sites it up all the competition.
- Comment on Some *real* benchmarks on Bun (compared with Node) -- It only wins *sometimes* 1 year ago:
I’m with you on that. I’ve built dozens and dozens of node apps both professionally and for personal projects and yeah maybe the package installs could be faster, but the overall performance of the server has also been pretty good. If node is slow for you, maybe there’s some other optimizations to be made rather than switching the next new things as a solution.

- Comment on Lets talk about physics of the speed of spaceship 1 year ago:
I don’t feel the same kind of “grip” that a car would have in game but I see what you mean. I personally don’t hate the current physics. The more arcade feeling works well in combat like others have mentioned here.
But if a mod came out with more realistic physics I would be totally up for trying it.
