I group with friends exclusively or do solo. It seems to like to pick on random players including myself with latency, hiding or moving game assets, and network crashes. It’s not horrendous, but it’s like Russian Roulette sometimes.

That game is amazing, but its stability seems like it plays favorites during matches.

So did they deliver on the promise of press ganging my Pokemon to work in a guns factory? Because if they did I’ll go buy it tight now.

- Comment on Neanderthals and Homo sapiens had similar auditory and speech capacities - Nature Ecology & Evolution 5 months ago:
I was taught years ago that neanderthals would have most likely high pitched and nasally voices. Does that still hold up or has been disproven?
- Comment on Circular temple dedicated to Maya serpent deity discovered in Mexico 6 months ago:
Why didn’t they just put Kukulcán in the title?
Regardless, the round style temple is fascinating. That means a similar shared tradition with Quetzalcoatl worship, where the construction of the temples emphasized airflow.
What I want to know is, does this mean this practice started in the area and is a development from earlier “Feathered Serpent” worship of “Olmecs” or a tradition from outside the region such as influence from Teotihuacan.

A fantastic fortunate find! A snake rising from the earth after an earthquake, a coatl emerging from a tlalolin. How poetic!

I study Mesoamerican and especially Tenochtitlan history for fun. It breaks my heart every time I get to that part in any of my books.
