But that aside, my main driving force are cats and catgirls/Nekogirls.
Due live being fair, I right now only play #arknights and waiting on getting proper PC setup( it will be a long wait).Good at Eng/Rus. #fedi22

If you join Biggest instance then sure you won't encounter some of the listed problems, but federation isn't about joining biggest. Not intuitive UI also big factor, why greeting message don't tell Use #Hello #Привет or other language for first message? People don't understand/know about search being specific to # add to that bombardment with tips... Fediverse is bad for newcomer.

@zephyr I wrote my observations https://hub.hubzilla.de/wiki/kotking/Fediverse/Home . It's a really Work in progress and raw, but I mentioned and credited source some questions you have. Still think how to fill Kbin section and as I use Misskey also will be written about... But it's so much feature bloat that I would need wiki for wiki... Half joking.
