- Comment on ribbed plastic anchor in brick not holding -- what screw diameter do I need? 1 week ago:
Looks like you’re using the wrong kind of anchor dude. If you are mounting into brick you will need a specific type of anchor designed for brick. More like one of these
The plastic ones are designed for light loads and exclusively for plaster/drywall. Once you put the screws in and tighten it down the fins of the plug flare put behind the plasters it cant be pulled out without tearing out a chunk of wall. The brick anchors will flare out within the hole clamping itself against the inner wall of that hole.

Wonder what specifically about Batman causes that? Would the same thing happen with Superman? Wonder Woman? Punisher? Would it happen with a child dressed as Batman?
- Comment on "We were already running a tight ship": Elder Scrolls 6 devs are worried about Xbox's layoffs causing even more delays to the long-awaited RPG 1 month ago:
Imma be honest I don’t expect it to ever come out and if it ever does I expect it to be a soulless cash grab that has to be “fixed” with community mods 5 years after the game comes out to be remotely playable. I’d be happy to be surprised but I wont hold my breath
- Comment on William Wallace didn’t look like that 2 months ago:
In 2009, the film was second on a list of “most historically inaccurate movies” in The Times.[66] In the humorous non-fictional historiography An Utterly Impartial History of Britain (2007), author John O’Farrell claims that Braveheart could not have been more historically inaccurate, even if a Plasticine dog had been inserted in the film and the title changed to “William Wallace and Gromit”.[74]
