I’ve been on an anti-police posting thing for more than a few years now. I’ve had some really shitty interactions with police in my life that has really driven my emotional empathy for them down down down lower than a badger’s ball-sack.
It is exhausting. I am tired. My anger has been subsumed by a sadness that anger can no longer carbonize, and none of social media has made anything better.
I and others have gotten more brash towards LEO, and LEO has escalated in lethality.
I am out of ideas. I am out of yelling and screaming and giving the finger to the police.

i have a parent that always wants me or one of my siblings to have his broken shit.
i always turn it down. my older sibling takes whatever it is and sits on it.
but every time our parent contacts me and complains that my sibling doesn’t understand value because they haven’t stopped their work, raising their kids, and their personal time to fix something they broke. and of course their stuff is too valuable, broken or whatever, to throw out.
it was for our parent’s 10 year old broken laptop last time.
