- Comment on What should the subset of the Fediverse that is Lemmy + Mbin + PieFed be called? 2 weeks ago:
Gonna be the odd one out here and say that all of these names are kinda stupid, but Lemmyverse is probably the best of the bunch.

In Ecosia’s settings you can set it to primarily use Google results instead of Bing. Makes it a lot more enjoyable to use.

I’m logged in on sh.itjust.works, I’m not logged in or have an account on lemmy.ml. If I want to interact with posts from lemmy.ml, I want to do so from my home instance of sh.itjust.works whre I’m logged in and have my main account.

Might be worth bringing it up in the voyager community. That definitely shouldn’t be the case.

They do not. Are you using Sync for Lemmy? It’s broken and doesn’t hide properly

Also use the hide read posts setting
- Comment on You'll know Lemmy has really caught on when searching for "Lemmy" returns more results for the forum than for the Motorhead guy. 1 month ago:
It should work fine. Filtering by one instance will show all Lemmy content. You can use a script to ensure you always land back on your instance.

pawb.social
seems to have the same error. The site seems to suggest that it may only be an issue if its returning a 200 response, but only admins can check this:Expected: A 206 response response with two bytes payload.
Incorrect: A 200 response, meaning the server is ignoring partial requests, breaking video streaming. This usually indicates improper reverse proxy settings. You may need to enable the Nginx slice module—as seen here in lemmy-ansible. Check the ngx_http_slice_module docs for more details.

- Comment on What games other than Smite have a lot of pantheons (beyond Greek and Norse)? 1 month ago:
Crusader Kings 3 is a grand strategy game that has some pantheon-related mechanics. e.g as a Hindu you can choose your personal God.
It’s not really the primary focus of the game though and doesn’t play a heavy role beyond additional stats.
