- Comment on The Silt Striders always made me feel kinda uncomfortable, anyone else? 3 weeks ago:
To me, it’s quite the opposite! I feel like Silt Striders are kind of cozy, actually. What can be more comfortable and safe to travel than on the back of a big bug-giraffe? They are sweet, calm, non-aggressive, domesticated creatures.

Isn’t it kinda funny that the “most harmful applications of AI tools are not hidden on the dark corners of the internet,” yet this article is locked behind a paywall?

Now I want this set! What is a wooden palette for? Can you explain?

I’m reading the answers, and it seems like no one understood the question. 😔

What’s that little black thing that kinda looks like a tiny antenna in the top right corner, right next to the battery indicator/percentage?

2% for the reliable independent monetary system seems like a good deal. How much does our current one consume with all its flaws?
- Comment on Asking ChatGPT to Repeat Words ‘Forever’ Is Now a Terms of Service Violation 5 months ago:
Wow. Yeah, it doesn’t work anymore. I tried a similar thing (printing numbers forever) about 6 months ago, and it declined my request. However, after I asked it to print some ordinary big number like 10,000, it did print it out for about half an hour (then I just gave up and stopped it). Now, it doesn’t even do that. It just goes: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5… and then skips, and then 9998, 9999, 10000. It says something about printing all the numbers may not be practical. Meh.
- Comment on I feel like Fediverse users are nicer to each other and more generous with upvotes than reddit. 9 months ago:
As someone who shares your desire for a better alternative, I find it disheartening to witness aggression. Although my experience with Lemmy was similar to Reddit (perhaps it’s just a matter of how I express myself or the communities I engage with), I genuinely hope you can also find comfort in Lemmy. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
