Cabinet and federal appointments are the big thing. That’s why I’ll take Biden over Trump. I’m not just voting for him, I’m voting for the 4000 jobs in energy, health, labor, transportation, etc. to be run by Democrats, liberals, and qualified people.
Trump, and project 2025 plan to fill all those roles with right wing nutjobs who will do anything to please the right. On top of those 4000, they’d expand the presidential appointment power to fire up to 45% of the federal workforce. Meteorologist who said the hurricane won’t hit Alabama? GONE! Doctor who said injecting bleach was a bad idea? FIRED!
I’ll take anyone who won’t put Project 2025 in motion.
- Comment on Game-sized Fallout 4 mod Fallout: London has been delayed indefinitely by Bethesda’s incoming next-gen update 7 months ago:
“the unavoidable fact that it’s going to break our core systems” means that fixing everything “will take some time”. As such, no replacement launch date was given - “We might get lucky with a day-one fix, it’s unlikely, but it might be a month,” the developer said. “Soon as those fixes are done, we can put it back up again.”
Since ‘indefinitely’ tends to mean forever in gaming news, it’s worth clarifying that the creators just can’t give a date right now. They need to wait and see what needs to be updated, which makes sense.
- Comment on GTA 6's release date will come after April 2025, suggests Ubisoft's CEO 9 months ago:
Red dead redemption 2 was delayed a year and GTA 5 was delayed 6 months. My optimistic guess was a fall 2025 release, but I honestly would be surprised to see it pushed into spring of 2026. I’ll take delays for quality and reducing crunch culture either way.

How weird, I’ve never seen that configuration. Today I learned. I just wanted to add that in case anyone read that and thought their living space was unsafe with a combination detector. The EPA says to put them, if they are CO specific, to put them about eye level from the floor, or on the ceiling.

If you’re referring to Carbon Monoxide detectors [I recognize the OP made an error calling them CO2] commonly referred to as “smoke/CO”, then, in the US at least, smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors are usually combined units. I’ve never found one to be separated like that. A common example is below. Carbon Monoxide is similar, if not lighter than common air density, so putting one on the floor wouldn’t make any real difference.

And in comes Google’s ‘DRM for websites’ plan to force you to use a chrome based browser. Sure, the websites still would need to opt in to integrity API, but how many will turn down guaranteed ads and tracking.
