goddamn, you a damn good pianist brother.
- Comment on Apple will let iPhone users in Brazil get apps and services outside of the App Store 1 week ago:
Yes ans no. Apple nanaged to fuck that up using something called “notarized apps”. Guess how many apps you can sideload? I think you have more than enough fingers to do that easily.
- Comment on AMD's legacy Ryzen 7 5800X3D chips now sell for up to $800, more than a new 9800X3D — AM4 chip costs twice as much as MSRP, as enthusiasts flock to old DDR4 memory 1 week ago:
I orderes a new 5700x 2 days ago fearing they might vanish forever as there are probably only stocks left.
I had one added for around 2 weeks in my amazon cart, but over here, in Spain, they went out of stock meanwhile, so I managed to order one from pccomponentes.com and I’m glad I did.
I still get to keep my 32 Gb DDR4 for a couple more years, hopefully.

He sure if, just like Mark Zuckerbook and Bill Pedosoft.

Fair. Those do deserve donations. I’m very interested in hardware that’s able to compete with the likes of Apple and Pixels, but am reluctant to throw my money at dreams for now. I’m really rooting for more linux phones and would just ship in a heartbeat if they become viable.

Im still on webos 24. Should I stick with it forever? I also use pihole and dev portal homebrew.
- Comment on It just keeps getting worse - Firefox to "evolve into a modern AI browser" 2 weeks ago:
This is true, however I’ve been cursed with using an iphone for a while and I had to find a decent alternative to firefox and ublock.
Unfortunately Safari is horrendous, like anything software Apple makes really, but it’s the only browser allowed to have extensions and Vivaldi is the only real alternative to it that work, as Firefox is terrible on ios.

Thanks for sharing this. I removed it from my wishlist.
- Comment on LG Update Installs Unremovable Microsoft Copilot on Smart TVs, Ignites Backlash 3 weeks ago:
I have pihole network wide and one of the lists I added is raw.githubusercontent.com/Perflyst/…/SmartTV.txt .
I guess I will have to review those lists.

I got the notification and I read the fine print. I will have to turn off any future updates from here on out.
- Comment on Samsung reveals first tri-fold phone 4 weeks ago:
Pretty soon Samsung is going to release a foldable that can become an imax screen. You just need to unfold it 1000 times, and you’re set. It also needs to be unfolded 4 times to be able to answer a call, or use the 1.2 back screen to do that.
When in doubt, just add more fold.

- Comment on Long-time iOS user considering switch to Android - Need advice on $1000 flagships 2 months ago:
Well, I mean Graphene has a web installer via chrome, making it on par with standard Google web installers. It’s not difficult, but I agree regarding the works out-of-the-box part of any argument. When looking for the closest equivalent for ios, Pixel is the only true alternative.
- Comment on Long-time iOS user considering switch to Android - Need advice on $1000 flagships 2 months ago:
The only things affected might be some banking apps and google nfc payments. Graphene OS is still the best alternative for Pixel Android for both privacy and security.

- Comment on Alternative app store AltStore raises $6M, connects with the fediverse | TechCrunch 2 months ago:
Yes, you can install the PAL version, however it’s not the same. Pal barely has any apps and Apple doesn’t “notarize” shit, so you’re still stuck with altstore/sidestore for any meaningful apps like youtube sponsorblock .
Apple found a way to circumvent the EU directive with this “notarized apps” shit. They are despicable.
- Comment on Anyone remember Heroes of Might & Magic 3? A remake is coming 2 months ago:
Been waiting for this to release for a while now. I am occasionally still playing Homm3 Complete and have tried Songs of Conquest , which is a decent newer alternative, but I don’t think it comes close to Homm.

Last time I hate the patience to soldier through a sad attempt at playing this game felt more like buying some next gen bike, but getting the chassis that looks like the bike I ordered, but had tech from 10 years ago and every time you try to park it in your garage, both wheels fall off.
It’s pretty sad really.

Not defending democrats here, but it says it was halted pending reviews. I would say at least the democrats have some sense of following rules, while under the Trump administration, these were immediately lifted.
Make of it what you will, but it’s pretty clear that following the laws/rules is a thing of the past in the US of A.

- Comment on Apple's Greed Is Finally Backfiring 4 months ago:
I’ve been using an iPhone for the past 6 months or so, an older iPhone 12 Pro my wife used until she upgraded to the 16 Pro. I can’t say too many bad things about the is itself, since it feels like a walled garden android and the software quality is actually worse on IPhone, but it might be the aging chip on it.
I can’t wait to go back to Android!
