Way easier, the catalogs are ready for you, you don’t need to download anything in advance, you can use it in any device too.
If you use real debrid, there’s no need for VPN either. So it’s cheaper also. Real debrid costs like 3 USD a month.
It’s also very low in maintenance, I touch my configuration every 3 months to update my real debrid details and that’s it.

Stremio + Real debrid.
Stremio is a platform to watch any media you like (works very similar to Plex), you can use it as it is, and install the plugins that are more useful to you (torrentio for example). If your country has strict laws, then you can use real debrid to convert the torrents to direct downloads, you just need to open an account in real debrid pay a few dollars a month, and link your account to stremio, and then you’ll have access to lots of content.
But I only use it to watch the latest linux distributions, nothing like spending a Sunday afternoon watching Fedora 40 while it’s raining outside.

You basically need professional headphones and speakers to notice any difference, my guess is that 99% of Spotify customers have headphones that didn’t cost more than $100, so why would they care? I mean, I have nice headphones and speakers and after some blind tests I couldn’t notice any difference.

I mean “you” in the general sense, your example was on Google Chrome.

If you are using Google Chrome they already have your browser history… Why are you suddenly worried about privacy just now?

How does that comment invalidate the previous one? If anything it actually reinforces it. Are you just looking for an excuse to shame someone?

How is acknowledging a bad connection by your ISP contrarian? Are you saying his problems do not exist?
- Comment on WhatsApp is one step closer to adding email address verification 11 months ago:
Yeah, they do, that’s what living in a society is, not everyone does as you want, and you have to compromise.I have my own choices (in other aspects) which they probably have to live with. But I’m not going to ghost my mum just because she uses WhatsApp, that’s plain entitlement and stupidity.
- Comment on WhatsApp is one step closer to adding email address verification 11 months ago:
Nah man, I value way more the contact with my mum and close friends more than refusing to use an stupid app.
If my mum is in trouble and try to message me via WhatsApp: “sorry mum, I don’t answer WhatsApp messages, good luck next time trying to get someone to help you”. By the way, most of my family calls via WhatsApp because we live in different countries.

Data plans exists, but there is no good middle ground. You have the unlimited 4g connection for 20 USD , or the WhatsApp only for a few dollars.
Most of the people, specially older age or people who already have unlimited data from work phones, do not need 4g unlimited connection, so why spend extra 15 USD (which is a lot in latin America), if you can still communicate perfectly fine via WhatsApp.
- Comment on WhatsApp is one step closer to adding email address verification 11 months ago:
Yeah, that’s small little thing, that everyone uses it. I’ve been waiting to get away from WhatsApp for years, but I would be an idiot to say that I can get away from it and still communicate with my family and friends via text.
- Comment on Why aren’t motherboards mostly USB-C by now? 11 months ago:
A cheap USB hub solves everything you are describing. You can just leave it dangling from behind.
Saying that, I’m not in favour of only usb-c motherboard though.

As any tool, it’s as great as its user. I think younger generations are probably more eager to explore and expand, but it’s ok to be suspicious when used incorrectly.
AI is great when used correctly, but I had a discussion last week with someone asking chatgpt about immigration advice… Ehh no thanks, I rather talk to an actual expert.

I mean, Dylan is an amazing lyricist and musician. But the technical prowess of his voice is known to be average at best, this is a common opinion even among musicians.
Dylan changed the game, but there’s nothing wrong acknowledging there are much better singers: Mike Patton, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Jeff Buckley.

Not OP, I don’t have respect for JP, but he still was a professor back then. This is like Degree Tyson starts talking BS on behavioural psychology, that doesn’t make him wrong about all his previois statements on astrophysics.
