The manga for this one is surprisingly solid despite the overused premise. There’s a lot of work involved into building Elma (and Luce) into powerhouses, si a lot of battles are very close with them barely scraping by due to good team work.
If the production is solid this will definitely be a fun watch.

Favorites for this season are Pseudo Harem ED, Oshi no Ko S2 OP and Tower of God S2 OP.
Honoroable mention to the Nokotan OP for the memes, and for the evolving credits for Tower of God S2, really like how they are a “season so far” summary.

Are they twins? just very close in age?
According to the manga adaptation
___ Blood siblings born less than one year apart, which is why they are in the same school year. Their last names are different because their parents divorced and one went to live with the father and the other with the mother.

I haven’t heard of any disc game not being able to be played.
There’s a number of games that don’t come with the whole thing on disk/cart, usually including only the early stages and the rest needs to be downloaded.
Hogwarts Legacy and Jedi Survivor are two fairly recent examples.

The only question I have is what’s gonna happen as game discs are just becoming an access token to download the game and its updates.
That’s a big concern. There’s communities trying to document which games are complete on the media and can be played from start to end without updates (so no major game-breaking bugs or huge performance issues) like this one:
I’m also part of a Facebook group that collects cartridge information for Switch games, to document if there’s revisions with all updates included.
docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/…/edit#gid=0
This community doesn’t test the games, just tries to figure out if there’s a “100% complete, all patches” version for each game available as physical media.
- Comment on Helldivers 2 Players Express Frustration On Steam As It Will Soon Require A PSN Account 6 months ago:
There’s also the problem that they’re clearly rushing this without much thought, they don’t even have an answer to the obvious question of “what happens to people in regions not supported by PSN”.
- Comment on Helldivers 2 Players Express Frustration On Steam As It Will Soon Require A PSN Account 6 months ago:
The developer is involved. Though it’s pretty obvious that the push for this is from Sony, they are the publisher for the game.
- Comment on Helldivers 2 Players Express Frustration On Steam As It Will Soon Require A PSN Account 6 months ago:
So if it were clearly written on the Steam page, I don’t really get the complains.
It was optional for several months and the info on the PSN page contradicted that, so there was a lot of room for confusion.
Not surprisingly that PSN page was edited earlier today, but there’s a million screenshots floating around already, plus you can check the previous version in the Wayback Machine.
And even if it was clearly written on all places, it’s still a “too bad you didn’t read the fine print, now you’re past the limit time for a refund, so either let Sony track you or lose access to the game” situation which is very shitty. There also the fact that they sold the game to people in countries where is PSN is not available, which should not have happened if that requirement was going to be enforced in the future.
Not hard to see why people would get pissed and lose trust in the developer. I also think that players have been annoyed for a while with this type of requirement (not specifically in this game), and they are now getting a good outlet with a lot of publicity around to vent about this.

First half of S2 was kinda of a mess (in particular in pacing), so I really hope this half does a better job.
That being said… god, I missed this series, I was smiling the entire episode.
- Comment on Winter Anime Season Wrap-up and Discussion Thread [Week 13] 7 months ago:
“S2 please” is my overall opinion of this season. In no particular order, I want more of:
- Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End
- The Apothecary Diaries (S2 announced!)
- The Unwanted Undead Adventurer
- Villainess Level 99
- 7th Time Loop
- The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic
Honestly one of the best seasons I’ve followed.
Besides the ones mentioned above I’d like to give a mention to “Brave Bang Bravern”, a completely crazy and amazing mecha series by Masami Obari that more people need to watyc.
- Comment on "Grisaia: Phantom Trigger" New Key Visual 7 months ago:
The VNs go like this:
Original Trilogy:
The Fruit of Grisaia -> The Labyrinth of Grisaia -> The Eden of Grisaia
They all got anime adaptations with the same names. I hear they are a fun watch but cut a LOT of content, in particular from the first game (12 episodes for a VN with an an average length of 75h on VNDB).
Phantom Trigger:
Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol. 1 -> Vol. 2 -> Vol. 3 -> Vol. 4 -> Vol. 5 -> Vol. 5.5 -> Vol. 6 -> Vol. 7 -> Vol. 8
Takes place in the same universe but it’s an indepentent story, it only contains a few references to the original trilogy.
From the descriptions on Anilist, I believe the first movie adapted the first two volumes of the VN, and the second movie adapted the third volume.

I’d argue it’s the opposite, EO games have so many interesting builds to try that they’re among the most replayable dungeon crawler games.

Rough translation:
The Sistema Interligado Nacional (“Interconnected National System”) registered record energy consumption this wednesday (7/2). At 14h15, the total load was of 101.860 megawatt (MW), with 92,4% provided by renewable sources, in particular hydroeletric plants, wind plants, solar plants plus micro and mini distributed generation, according to data from the Operator Nacional do Sistema Elétrico (“National Electric System Operator”) (ONS).
So if I’m understanding correcty this was peak generation.

According to the DF review vídeo the account is required on PS/Xbox unless you’re offline, but entirely optional on the Switch.

That one was so good.
Haven’t played this game in decades but instantly started hearing the song in my head when I saw your post.
- Comment on Whats your favorite Main Menu music? 11 months ago:
Probably Metroid Prime. Both the Title Theme and the Menu Theme are fantastic.
Branching into a type of game most people here won’t have played - VNs often have great title themes.
- Muv-Luv Alternative’s “Crash” is pure hype
- Both Steins;Gate’s “Gate of Steiner” and Steins;Gate 0’s “Messenger” are great themes too.
