You actually do to get rid of this, it colonizes the follicle. I’ve shaved my armpits for like 20 years and never once had an ingrown hair as does like most women in the US

Yeah I don’t doubt it, its just superficial bacteria that can be sticky. I think some people have it worse than others and that like the 2 week thing is the sure fire nuclear option that will basically always work. I actually posted this because I’m pretty sure I had this too in my 20s when I was going to the gym all the time but I started shaving and keeping it that way around then and talking about it was like a memory unlocked moment.

Doesn’t need to be suddenly. That said it isn’t as easy as you state. I’ve tried to get recourse and no one would even take my case because of made up bad reviews they’ve been keeping for years. At the place I used to work at the managers were not allowed to give everyone good reviews, 1/3 of the company got bad reviews every quarter. This is how corporations like cough capital one cough deal with this and get you out.

But you are still an at will employee and they can fire your for anything else for any reason at any time with little recourse unless a lawyer will take your case and they almost never do. They won’t fire you for talking about your wages but suddenly you get bad reviews and get laid off.

I just don’t understand why everyone wants to defederate and was having a shitposty time collecting downvotes. Why? Because this literally doesn’t matter. There are plenty of tools on lemmy to deal with annoyances including creating your own instances, the subscribed tab, block lists, and lots of stuff that this beta software has in the works on the roadmap. All in all people are taking everything way too seriously for what this is, hobby software run by amateurs and individual people not corporations for sharing links on software that isn’t anywhere near being complete.
Does moderation suck? Maybe, who cares? Tomorrow is a whole other day of more posts. If you really want to create a new comm on a new instance and do a better job than lemmy.ml. Ruud did it, you know who isn’t? The people grandstanding and downvoting.
There is so much negativity surrounding Lemmy it is surreal and way out of bounds for what this actually is. This is why I joke around and post weed memes and sometimes poke a bear. Everyone needs to chill the fuck out. And if you think this is Russian propaganda or whatever that is fine.
