  The first time I beat the final boss of Sekiro. It was a culmination of everything you learned in that game and perfectly paced. Felt like being part of a well choreographed dance and like everything you had gone through to get to this point of the game was paying off.

  I think it’s a great game for veterans who like challenges like myself.

  But I have to call out team Cherry for their interviews: They said they wanted anyone to be able to pick up this as their first Hollow Knight game and just start playing… Sorry, but, bullshit. the difficulty ramp is too quick, double damage comes out to early and the boss fights get more challenging quickly. See the weaver for instance, a fight I’d place around the difficulty of Grimm, but there’s double damage and you probably only have 5 health.

  Also they mentioned part of the game’s difficulty was due to Hornet’s competence and utility… Ghost is canonically a better fighter than Hornet, so by that logic they should have made the game easier (yes I’m being silly about this part).

  Hollow knight had a custom fast travel option in late game. You could place a dreamgate almost anywhere and just zwoop to it.

  This is going to sound ridiculous, but I believe the perceived etymology of the word ‘feminism’ hurts the intent of the movement.

  The word seems to imply that women should be put first, not as equals. Think of ‘nationalism’, those following that put their nation first, sometimes to the point of being derogatory to other nations.

  So when uneducated hear the word feminism they may think it’s an ideology of putting women first to the point of being derogatory to men.

  As a kid/teen I played the hell out of 4 and 5. I revisited the series for 7 and it felt like they left a lot of storytelling out. Gameplay(combat and controls) was still great though.
