Amazon.com could shut down at any point and Bezos wouldn’t lose anything really. Most of the web runs on Amazon web services. You don’t have to buy anything from them. If you’re online, you’re their product.

I just got offered a new job after rage quitting a really bad one. I’ll be working with at-risk kids in a group home, basically a low security facility for kids who have either had run-ins with the law and need a second chance or who just don’t have anywhere else to go. I’m excited, for once I feel like I’m going to be doing work that’s actually important and not just making some wealthy idiot wealthier.
