Hello guys, I haven’t been up to date with what’s happening with fediverse and just got to know that Meta has arrived here. Lemmy.world is not blocking it. So what should I do as an user to avoid Meta? Move to different big instance? Does monyet.cc block meta?

I am kind of in the same boat as OP and I did come across Nextcloud. But how reliable is Nextcloud hosted by some other org/company/person? Aren’t we running away from a company hosting our data to another company hosting our data?

Have you guys fully replaced reddit? For me I feel like missing out news I need to be hearing. I have tried rss feeds but couldn’t seem to make them work well.
