Tesco value acid
Yes, I would want to see that, I don’t understand the objection.
Is Big Daz’s looney tabs, which are on offer from your local dealer currently, any better somehow?
- Comment on Green leader Zack Polanski backs legalisation of all drugs 3 days ago:
Right, but people take all those drugs anyway even though it is illegal.
All prohibition does is mean it’s unregulated, unsafe and a huge waste of policing resources and ruined lives (mostly via enforcement).
Drugs should be a health issue, not a policing one.

nationalising trains
Sorry, but no, they haven’t. Some franchies expired and returned to state ownership, which was a Tory policy and several TOC’s reverted under them.
sort of) nationalising steel
No they haven’t.
nationalising a part of our energy sector
Again, no they haven’t, GB Energy whatever the fuck it actually is, is not nationalising energy.
If they had actually done those things, then yes they might be in the win column.
bringing the NHS back under direct public control
Total vague nonsense, how’s outcomes doing? No real change?
ending various tax-dodging loopholes, such as the IHT for farmers and non-dom taxes
They chickened out on that and for me, it’s not nearly enough and exactly shows the problem with Keir Starmer and his boring pussy arsed government. IHT should be like 100% over a certain amount, there should be no generational wealth. He should be making that case and it would certainly set him apart from Farage and company.
windfall tax on energy companies
Probably the first one we can unambiguously say ‘ok’ on… Though of course, not really because the energy windfall tax was a Tory policy from 2022 and all they did was increase the rate from 25% to 28%.
I really cannot be arsed to go though the rest, but suffice to say.
Bullshit mate.

Angela Rayner, though of course she sold us out for a fucking flat in Brighton.
- Comment on Firm linked to Tory peer Michelle Mone breached £122m PPE contract, High Court rules 5 days ago:
They are just scapegoating Mone, and it will amount to a slap on the wrist in any case. She should be in prison with all her assets seized, imo. The fact the law is okay with destroying poor people’s lives over vastly smaller sums just says everything about this society.
Mone’s PPE Medpro was given about £200m in govt contracts. Ayanda was given £252m in contracts. It’s the family office of a Tory advisor. They had no history in PPE and were given the contract because of politics links.
We paid a quarter of a billion for masks that were found to be defective and had to be burnt, also at taxpayer expense. Ayanda is not in court.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg, that VIP lane was just legalised corruption and they have already gotten away with it.

Shit getting more expensive, yeah fantastic.
- Comment on 'Buy one, get one free' deals for unhealthy food banned in supermarkets 5 days ago:
Healthy people cost the NHS a lot more when they live to 90+, I can say for sure when my 97 year old nan died she used up a LOT of resources that last 20 or 30 years.
I just don’t find the NHS costs argument convincing.
- Comment on 'Buy one, get one free' deals for unhealthy food banned in supermarkets 5 days ago:
Drugs should be legal.
If we want to encourage people to be healthy we should be making leisure centres free and make sure people have enough time to use them.
As usual this is just a sticking plaster policy on the real causes of why people eat shit or take drugs.
- Comment on Firm linked to Tory peer Michelle Mone breached £122m PPE contract, High Court rules 5 days ago:
Man, I feel the exact same way.
If it was just some non connected peon stealing a few quid off the social they would have them in the dock quicker than you can say ‘proceeds of crime’.
The real 2 tier justice, sickening.

The whole tweet was a hypothetical scenario.
If he’s harassing somebody, then that is a separate matter.
I’m not condoning his opinions, I don’t agree with him, but I think we should all consider how this might apply to the things we have the freedom to say here (something I am very much in favour of keeping).
