- Comment on UK to ban sale of disposable vapes in response to soaring waste and safety risks 5 days ago:
Can’t upvote this post enough! There was a clear strategy through misleading information and regulation to shove the ecig market to the big players (Tobaco industry). And those big players user that to get the youth hooked in their shitty disposable vapes. It could have been a tool to help many many smokers. But it was enshityfied like everything the big industry lobbies touch.

If you can install Windows and Linux in separate harddrives / SSD. That makes live easier compared to duelboot from the same harddrive.
For some time I had Linux on a USB-C ssd. I even run starcitizen from that without much problems. After some time i just installed the external SSD as second hardrive.

Nuclear power is much more expensive than renewable power. Also nuclear ist not that good to regulate to compensate for swings in renewable power. And if you downregulate the nuclear power it gets even more expensive. Building new nuclear plants takes ages so renewable can be much easier scaled up. Combined with batteries the unsteady renewable power will be a lesser problem.
The outphasing of nuclear power was a bit early but in the Ende needed.
Also france Bad massive problems with their nuclear power in the summer because of a lack of cooling water.
