Spice & Wolf remake: I think I might prefer the original, but this one’s good too. I like the slight change in her voice and personality.
The new season is pretty good relative to the OG, but nothing can match the OP and ED music of the original.
Delicious in Dungeon: good fun and gripping when it got serious.
There’s some very fine sakuga combat moments in there that seem like they’re animated on the ones and will definitely be on someone’s sizzle reel. Trigger ftw.
Unnamed Memory: bad. Just bad.
That prince was one-dimensional for an OP. His haranguing the witch got old quick.
Chillin’ In Another World Lvl 2: good fun. Rys is fun.
That was one of the most memorable moments of the season. Awesome pilot episode. Magic and combat and character-level-worldbuilding… Episode 2 starts where 1 left off… and then this bubble-gum saytang cutesy OP fires up, completely changing the tone of the show. Still enjoyed it. Rys is top 5 berstgirl of the season.

Agree about Re:Monster. It front-loaded all the appealing world building, and then gave up for self-insert tropes.

- Can we get more EDs like Go Go Loser Ranger?
- 7th Prince was top tier trash. Glad it was renewed.
- Oh how the mighty have fallen. Mushoku and Slime both had six episodes straight of talking at tables.
- Wind Breakers was dang good.
- Demon Slayer , you were late to the party, but you brought chips and drinks.
- Kumiko, you were really late to the party, but you and your Euphonium have the best high school drama out there.
Good season. Winter was better, but there was still good eatin’

I’ve known about the Orphan Crushing Machine for a while, but it takes news stories like this to make one take a step back and realize that there are people actively maintaining and upgrading the Orphan Crushing Machine. jfc. Who wakes up and says, “crushed orphans are vital to my business plans,” with no sense of irony?

It’s really too bad that Tarzan is saddled with the end of the Disney Animation renaissance. Everything that came AFTER it is just as fantastic: Atlantis and Treasure Planet as discussed, Lilo and Stitch, Extremely Goofy Movie, Emperor’s New Groove… that’s a four year span of comedic and meme-worthy excellence. That same era birthed other movies whose fandoms have withstood the test of time: Iron Giant, ElDorado, Titan A.E., Shrek, Spirited Away, Ice Age, Sinbad amongst others.

Interestingly enough, The Monkees show started the same month (as all shows did back in the day) in '66. I think he was just covering his bases - if it didn’t work out on Trek, he could transition over to be a Monkee.
