- Comment on But how would they be able to live on that? 8 months ago:
That’s why they play a whole different game than us. He isn’t worried about paying back that interest or loan, he’s trying to find a way to make that $2m pay him back 1% or more per interest period. They never have to consider the loan amount, because those interest and payments will be done in 10 years while the profits from that loan will explode into hundreds of millions.
See? Anyone can do it, it’s honestly really fucking easy to come up with a million dollar idea. The hard part is that first couple million dollars. If you aren’t born with it, you will literally never have access to that type of wealth.

This is what happens right before the major money holders abandon ship. There’s no way they don’t know this is business-suicide. I bet they got a big payday from some companies that paid Glassdoor to shoot itself in the face!

If I lose $10,000, that’s on me and my own situation. Musk has essentially wasted resources, time, manpower, and the very blood/sweat/tears from who knows how many humans on this planet. We need to eat the rich, not let them drag us down with their own poor decisions

And then you might still get arrested for “impeding an investigation” and “failure to comply” even though your constitutional rights allow said non-compliance.
Then you get fired because you had to sit in jail until the charges are dropped, and suddenly your foodstamps agent audits you so you lose a week of access to food!

- Comment on Lets talk about physics of the speed of spaceship 1 year ago:
The ships essentially have fully enabled flight assist. So when you let go of the throttle, there are forward thrusters that immediately start to cancel your velocity. In real life, this is pretty pointless since speed is relative, but you could at least set your reference frame to your target planet.

- Comment on Should there be an "ALL OFF" button to instantly shut down all these new AI Defense bots that the Military in the US want to build and deploy in the thousands? 1 year ago:
Most military networks are closed circuit by design. I’m not sure how this could be implemented without also allowing back doors to be exploited. You wouldn’t want someone to be able to turn off your defenses as they begin an attack, for example.

As others have mentioned, pure hydrogen and pure oxygen are both quite flammable. It would be very expensive to extract/filter only the oxygen out of the air while staying portable, but I think we may need to go for a tank-storage design anyways.
I think you’re better off using hydrogen peroxide from a tank (maybe even a backpack?) and breaking that down into water and oxygen (o2)
